    FIRST TIMER - Starting 4/9/18

    I'm doing a second round, starting the 9th also. First time went great and actually went over and went 40 days then had a visit at the VA hospital to check numbers and they were all great. Went on a cruise and need to purge you might say. Worst part for me is I'm not much of a vegetable eater but The items from Fresh Thyme help and having Chicken wings with buffalo sauce is always good. I also learned to love Ghee Butter.

    Amazing what you really don't like. Oh yes my board of directors, my CFO is a real Fat Cat lol. today I realized why I did whole 30, my joints just ached awful. I really need to pay good attention to what I eat, my cruise is less than a month so could use a few more pounds off.

    Artemis, after my W30 board of directors meeting with my feline partners we have agreed 1 to 4 that your correct and my 1 is the only one that matters. We will just try the scaled back approach for now and see where that goes. I made peanut butter in our Votamix once and the kids didn't like it and wanted good old Jiff back lol so I hear ya there. i have decided I need to pre plan my weeks worth of meals even when I'm not on the plan. Everyday it seems the Sam in the afternoon when we ask each other what's for dinner (cats always vote for Tuna by the way). Think I'll sit down today and plan it all out. any more re-introductions for you?

    Lol sugar is evil, that's what draws me to sodas. Afraid I fell off the wagon on day 4 ugggggg. Maybe I need to try a 90% approach like eat W30 for breakfast and lunch and stay close on dinner. Dinner is rough with the family

    Oh no, have I lost you Artemis? I just joined a new group that's starting tomorrow but I am on my day 2 and not backing down now. My joints hurt rather bad this am and I think last time I was about 4-5 days in before my joints felt better so I can't wait. Hopefully your doing well out there and staying strong.

    Starting March 1st

    Well, I just started yesterday but need a support group to kick around with. Not enough of us guys on here, I just finished the W30 after 40 days and felt wonderful and I was in a hurry one day and ran through a drive thru and well....the rest is history. I will say I went to the VA doctor and had all my numbers ran and ALL my numbers were really good and before I was borderline sugar and Cholesterol and lost right at 30 lbs. Well this time my wife isn't on it with me but we have joined the YMCA and exercise is being brought back and I guess the main draw beside I feel crappy again is we have a cruise coming in mid April so will be on this until a week or so before with enough time to do the re-intro properly this time. My savior is Ghee Butter and Baked potatoes with so W30 approved bacon from Earth Fare. Not the best for losing weight but if it keeps me eating well its fine. Dinner is by far the hardest as I make a week ahead my breakfast of Diced potatoes with peppers and onions and 2 slices of bacon and 2 eggs. Lunch is usually Beef stew or leftovers. Dinner is bad because with the wife and 4 kids.....well you get it. Good luck everyone.

    Hey there Artemis, still hanging in there? Keep it up and you may never go back to eating "normal". i about lost a cat this weekend. He peed on my chair, think he hates his diet lol. im back on tack and even headed for the gym tonight. How's you fibro doing? I just started taking CoQ10, have you ever taken it?

    Ha ha Artemis you know better cats are wherever cats want to be. It it funny that I did this for 40 days and felt so much better and now all I can say is that I'm off it a feel like crap so I keep trying to restart it and make it a day or two and cheat. But I guess the good is at least I know I need it and I do keep starting and my will power will win soon. i think it's harder to start now because the wife isn't on it with me. But I do have the great Artemis and my cats, oh my wonderful cats. So, I will say once more that today is that day I will get back on the right track.

    Lol, shamu is better than me calling Fatso all the time....wonder why he looks at me funny all the time?? Sure shoot me that recipe as I'll try anything once except asparagus ick. So how much longer are you trying to hang on? Sounds like a great guy eating w30 with you is he? My wife will eat MOST of w30 but slips a little in when I'm not around.

    I have used the burger trick and chicken wings but give a burger to my cat...Artemis really, I think my little Corgi would attack although my fat cats may be as big as my corgi these days. It's a bit easier since it's just me cause I'll eat just about anything except green food, don't ask. Lol. Have some taco style meat I can throw into a baked potato also or a romain boat for a quick easy.

    See, nothing to stress over. Now the next event you'll be even more prepared. Not sure what I am considered, like your stress eating.....think I just like food lol. Biggest problem is making bad choices and being prepared like last night, we have a freezer in the garage full of chicken, pork loin, pork shoulder butt, grounds beef and ham but didn't plan anything for dinner and when you whip something together at 6-7 at night when the kids are yelling and cats are meowing they're all hungry you never make great choices. Thats usually what throws me off now, I do great breakfast and lunch then dinner......I've caved. Even harder since the wife isn't doing this with me now as it really made it easier before. I am determined to do this though so every morning I get up and eat my eggs n W30 bacon and hopefully this is the day I'll get started again. Heck I did 40 days I should be able to do this again right? I know those darn cats would lap up a bowl of milk if I'd put it down there to but they need to be strong to and eat they're kibble.

    Hey Artemis, ahhh don't sweat it. Spaghetti sucks anyway lol. If someone's offended by you eating your own food we'll, who gives a hoot. think of it like an airplane (ask airlinefood if he's still monitoring) YOU need to take care of yourself before you can half someone else. I was going for the time when they give you the de-pressurization speech but not sure it's fitting well lol. Seriously though why would someone at a charity event care if you eat the food? Give an extra buck and they don't care. Also, it's a church so testify to what W30 is doing for you cause maybe someone else could benefit. NO STRESSING, and have a beautiful weekend. Here in Indiana it's getting to 70 degrees in Feb. and sunny. Going to whip out the grill and cook some bum less burgers I think. i think one of my cats is going to have to start all over on W30 as I caught him eating a piece of corn, day 1 for him again. How's that for a laugh?

    Let's just say I quickly fell into bad habits and now remember why I did it. I have a cruise in mid April so my target date will be April Fools Day. I actually noticed myself being grumpier And little pains are back. Also my cats are wanting to go a bit longer so they want me to keep them company on the W30 to and I love me some cats lol.
