I am starting 1/2 also! I have been trying to pick and commit to a date for a Whole 30 for about a year... no more putting it off, and I am very excited! Meal planning is difficult for me to stick with multiple weeks in a row, so I'm doing my best to prep this week and do as much ahead of time as I can.
Hello lovely people - I also am starting on January 2nd.
I did Whole30 in May of 2015 and had a good experience. Many of the Whole30 habits did stick but since starting grad school finding time to cook became harder. Also, as soon as I finished I went on a trip to Florida and ate mostly whatever I wanted. This time, I plan to take the reintroduction phase seriously and slowly.
It's been a really long time since I've felt out of control with food. But there's been some days in December where I've been eating like I'm on death row. Getting away from these choices is what I want most out of my Whole30 experience this time.
