    February 27 - Newbie Start Date!! Join!!!

    I'm planning on following the sample reintroduction starting on Day 31. I feel great right now so I'm really interested to see what happens when introducing non compliant foods. I have eaten gluten free for almost 4 years. I'm a little nervous trying it again. The main reason I'm doing the Whole30 is for the reintroduction. My family is ready for the 30 days to be over so they don't have to eat so much meat. There are somethings that they really liked and will definitely be in our rotation of recipes. 1 week to go!     Sorry about that. I've been battling some head/nasal congestion for the last 2 weeks that worked its way through my home and my team at work. I thought I might miss out but didn't. I made the "best chicken" from the Well Fed cookbook. It's pretty simple but it is the best chicken ever!

    Tonight I'm making a frittata. Sauteing some onions, browning beef. Throwing some spinach, sweet potatoes, and red bell peppers with it for a while. Then adding 10 eggs and baking it. I've made it before and my kids like it so that's a plus. Tomorrow we're having Pork Carnitas from the Whole30 cookbook.

    My name is Erik, and I'm from Iowa. My wife and I have 4 kids. I'm the only one that is doing this 100%. This will be my 1st Whole30. I do most of the cooking so they'll eat what I make for dinner. I have all my dinners planned out for the 30 days and can post some ideas if that would be of any help. Take it one day at a time!
