    Today is my day 31!  Yay for me!!  I feel good about making it through 30 days....it is quite an accomplishment for me.  I plan to try to stay "whole30'ish".  I'm not sure I will have a true "reintroduction", but I plan to use a lot of what I learned...I will always be making homemade Mayo and Dump Ranch dressing..LOL  (my favs) and I still love eggs!  One thing I am looking forward to tonight is a glass of wine with dinner. 
    BTW - lost 10.5lbs in 30 days!

    It's kind of crazy, but now that we are almost done, I dont feel,like it was as hard as I thought it would be in the beginning. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to make it 30 days..but I WILL!  I learned a lot and I am really hoping I lost a few pounds! I'm not sure about NSV's ..I really don't feel that much different.  I am sleeping better.  I was hoping the W30 might help with hot flashes...but so far no change..I HATE them!!  
     
    The Dr Oz show today (at lest on our TV station here) is about the W30 plan...can't wait to see what they have to report on!

    Sounds good but I found this is the comments on that website....too much like a fake baked good....but I would definitely try it after day 30 when I will be trying to,stay whole30'ish.  Happy day 18 for me...still digging out of snow here!  
     
    "Love this recipe and have made it several times, but according to Melissa Hartwig (I snapchatted her a screenshot of this) "in no way is this compliant" for Whole30 because it goes against the no baked goods / SWYPO on rule."

    I've made a few recipes out of the W30 book...chili, chicken cacciatore, banger sausage and sweet mash, halibut with citrus ginger glaze, frittata, grilled shrimp....all have been delish!  I have been trying to cook a few new recipes each week.  Since we are expecting a big snow storm here tomorrow, I will probably spend some time making something new..I had never cooked with ghee before either and I thinks it's good.  Made the pan fried steak...filets in ghee then in the oven.   Mmmmm good. .I have enjoyed the cooking and trying lots of new things...all part of the journey!   Yep..half way there...livin on a prayer...lol.  Good luck everyone and if you are in the northeat...stay safe & warm!

    Looks yummy... wish I could find W30 compliant bacon!  I am limited on grocery stores in our small,town...no TJ or Whole Foods stores...would be a 2 hour drive to get there..lol.  I made the banger sausage and sweet potato mash from the whole30 book recipes last night...yummy.  I have sausage for bfast this morning too.  I haven't had too many cravings but would love a slice of pizza!  It's only 30 days and I'm almost have way there...like the little engine that could!  Have a great day everyone and keep up the good work.  Thanks for posting here too. I like reading how others are doing.

    I love eggs too.. i keep,hard boiled eggs as a go to,snack or quick take to work bfast if needed.  I like my eggs with salsa or franks hot sauce and salt&pepper... spicy!   I prepped on Sunday....we ate the chili last night (recipe from the book)loved it!  Tonight we had the chicken cacciatore and I served it over some cauliflower rice.  Sauted the califlower rice in some ghee onions and garlic. S&P.  Prepping has made it easier..I would never spend that much time after work to,prepare a meal. I was struggling with a decent salad dressing...tried 2 from the book but didn't care for them, so,today I googled good seasons Italian...found a copy cat recipe and tweaked it to be whole 30 compliant..,basically no sugar and used light olive oil.  I like it much better!  I like to,make a good salad for lunch loaded with all kinds of veggies and some olives.  Day 2 done and so far so good.  Need to stay focused....

    I started today also.  I'm in upstate NY. I also am hoping to reset my cravings and clean up the bad eating habits along with losing some weight.  I did lots of preping yesterday. Made the basic mayo and cilantro lime mayo.  I don't think I will ever buy prepared mayo again. It was so easy to make and delish.  Had trouble with the vinaigrette dressings tho. Need to adjust the herbs and spices. I am not a fan of Either the basic or balsamic. My balsamic turned out the consistency of mayo. ... so all lessons learned!  Made the chili and chicken cacciatore for the week did dinners.  And wow what an eye opener reading labels to find compliant foods... had my cheat sheet... looking forward to reading this forum to get answers and support from others.  Thanks!
