  1. Question about pre and post workout meals?

    I am on day 5 and I am so irritable, I cannot manage a response that is not, well, irritable. I know this will pass. I am going to just keep doing I think. Thanks for your replies!
  2. Are pre and post workout meals a must? Here is my situation. I have hypothyroidism and I take my thyroid medication first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I get up early (like 5:30). I am supposed to wait at least 30 minutes before eating. During this period of time, I get my workout in. Then, after I work out, I eat breakfast, then get ready to go to work. If I had a pre workout meal, I would be getting up at 5 .am and this would likely rob some of my sleep (I am an 8 hour girl, need my 8 hours!). After I workout, I need to eat breakfast so I can get on to work. Also, I am not sure that I could stomach a post workout meal and breakfast right on top of each other. Are the pre and post workouts a must? I have found I won't workout after work, so morning is my sweet time.
