    You can do this! I’m only a mom of one (2 years old), but my best tips? -Make double the amount of anything you cook and freeze half for when you don’t have time to cook from scratch. - Keep a pack of applegate farms hot dogs in the house for emergency protein (especially that is kid friendly) -Remember to eat enough fat in your meals! Early on in my first Whole30, I found myself unsatisfied and really wanting to snack and part of it was that I was trying to be so “healthy” that I wasn’t eating enough healthy fats to satisfy my body. Fixing that helped a lot!

    Starting January 2!

    Just prepped a bunch of food today. Made/frozen a ground turkey shepherds pie with sweet potato topping for later in the week. Roasted up a bunch of turkey thighs for dinner tonight/ lunches tomorrow. Made a double batch of Nom Nom Paleo’s spicy tuna cakes (used canned pumpkin purée instead of sweet potatoes). I put half in the fridge and half in the freezer. I meant to make some mayo, but never got around to it. Maybe I’ll do that after work tomorrow and turn half into Whole30 ranch. I’m feeling good about my second Whole30 (granted I won’t offically start until tomorrow).

    Starting January 2!

    I’ll be starting my second whole 30 on Jan. 2nd, and I think it’ll actually be harder this time. My first time I had terrible cystic acne and was trying whole 30 as an elimination diet to see if food was effecting my skin. Now, I’m just doing it to reset some of my bad habits I’ve gone back to since July. Without a “medical issue” to do it for, I hope I can stay as committed. I’ll be checking in with you to see how you’re doing. Good luck!
  4. Hi all! I just started my first whole 30 yesterday and I'm excited and nervous. I'm a teacher, so summer is both the best and worst time to do it, no classes to prep or teacher, but home with my toddler and the temptation that is my fridge and pantry all day. I already had a moment of two yesterday when I went to get something out of the cupboard for my daughter and almost just grabbed one for myself. Mindless eating is not my friend. Anyway, good luck to everyone starting soon!
