Daphne Church got a reaction from lulucandoit! in Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue
I have seen a signifigant decrease in my fibromyalgia since I started Paleo 3-months ago (scale of 9 down to a 4). I am now doing the Whole30 to see if I can impact the inflamation I have developed in my body over the last year that is causing some new skin issues and further reduce if not rid my body of the fibromyalgia once and for all after 15 long years!
I also found that Boot Camp (Cross Fit) really helps as does working with a foam roller. While sometimes it is really hard to do because it hurts, it has been really fantastic and a huge help! Most gyms have them in the stretch area. There are some great how-to stretching/rolling videos on YouTube. You can also get one online to have at home. They are pretty cheap: http://amzn.com/B0040NJOA0

Daphne Church got a reaction from NatPatBen in Two Weeks in, Rashes are MUCH WORSE!
So I have developed some of these skin rashes too and did some research online today. I suspect, in my case, that it may be some sort of form of psoriasis, but not sure (yes, have made apt with dermo to see). From what I could find online, some trigger foods that are on the Whole30 list are eggs, citrus fruits, red meat, pickles, fermented foods, olive oil and red meat. I'm not going to give up on eggs and red meat quite yet, but going to try removing the rest of these and see what happens (I use lemons and limes EVERY day for example). I also found things to ADD to my diet that can help decrease these symptoms that are on the Whole30 that you may want to try since they decrease inflammation and those are: brazil nuts, probiotics, Vit D, flaxseed, broccoli and fiber.

Daphne Church reacted to jennycash in coconut flour?
i use it as a light coating for chicken. i cut the chicken into cubes, toss in a little coconut flour and salt, and then saute it in the pan with coconut oil (though you could use any other good fat like ghee). my kids love this and say it tastes like chic-fil-a.
