  1. I had Thyroid Cancer 30 years ago and had a total Thyroidectomy, so therefore totally rely on Synthroid for my thyroid hormone. I am on Day 12 of my first Whole30, and am losing weight that I do not need to lose. I have been concentrating on eating more and added additional fat and protein to correct this, but was just wondering if it is possible that some of the foods that I have eliminated may have been suppressing some Synthroid absorbtion. There seem to be a lot of things that affect Synthroid absorption that I have read about in the past. Is it possible that my Synthroid dose is now too high without the foods that might have been suppressing absorbtion? Anyone have a similar experience?
