Ladies, so sorry to leave you hanging! Sometimes checking in on a forum is not my strong point. I ended up just starting it as a whole a few days earlier bc I was ready. I have had to do a lot of prepping bc I’m a basketball scout for a high school girl’s basketball team. Being on the road a lot has hurt me in the past, but not this year! After getting past the first 2 weeks of severe headaches, I’m still having headaches, and this severe bloating and heartburn that I’ve never had in my life!!!! I can usually eat spicy food and no issues! I really dislike heartburn to be honest! What gives Whole30?!! I’ve been eating lots of kale and spinach, so I was ready in other parts of the old forum and it suggested cutting those out or lessening them. I’ve had bloating since day 1. So idk what the deal is! I’ve been taking a probiotic so I’m just not sure what is going on. Any suggestions anyone? I wonder if the nughtshades are giving me issues?
  3. New here...I will start on December 1st. I will start no sugar today because mentally, I am just ready. I have been a sugar addict for years and I have recently discovered that I am definitely sensitive to milk products. I tried Paleo a few years ago, as prescribed by my doctor, but I just didn't keep up on it, especially after I had met my soon to be ex-husband. He never wanted me to be healthy (he definitely wasn't) and It was so hard to fight for that. I have decided that now being in a safe place, I am going to break free from not just the bondage he and sugar had me under, but to finally take control and stop making excuses. I am ready to slay the sugar dragon and move forward. A friend of mine did the Whole30 for 100 days and has made it a lifestyle to help her kiddos and they did it as a family and saw drastic changes. I'm ready to make the drastic change for my body. I'm nearly 300 pounds, biggest I've ever been and I use to be healthy and an athlete, till college and a back injury. Just sick and tired of being sick and tired. I have goals and dreams and my body isn't going to be the result of those things unanswered. I'm ready to do this!

    Are you new here? Welcome!

New Here. I started the no sugar portion today, but I will start Whole 30 on December 1st, as I continue to make plans and preparations over the next few days and get some needed ingredients that I wouldn't have in this area. Excited to finally get started. I'm definitely sick and tired of being sick and tired. I have some life altering things going on and to break free from the bondage of my previous husband (he didn't want me to get healthy), I have chose to do what I finally wanted to do and that is break up with my addiction with sugar, flour and dairy. My OB/GYN Doctor suggested this years ago and I was never able to understand how to do it properly, but I think Whole30 was in the beginning stages at that point. Very thankful to be here and understand my body and what I need. I just had back surgery in May and was able to get off the pain meds, so I am thankful that I can begin to take care of the only body I have.
