On a positive note:  turned the slow cooker buffalo chicken into a creamy soup!  1 recipe with 1 can coconut milk, 8 cups chicken broth, 1 tsp. salt, and thickened with 4 T of arrowroot powder.  Cut a whole avocado and put it in the bowl and topped with the soup.  Yum!

I wouldnt start over. I would extend my Whole30 by 15 days. So rather then looking at it as Day 1 of 30 think of it as Day 15 of 45. Little less painful that way.

Ugh. Just found out my coconut milk has sulphites!  Thought Inhad bought a bunch that was compliant.

I’ve only used it twice. Both times for soups. Do I need to start over?!?!?  Or can I just keep going. Serious panic moment here!!  Other than that I’ve been perfect. Even when eating out!

Hi everyone, I started my first W30 yesterday.  The food and prep did not go as planned but I improvised and stayed positive.  Today, wasn't feeling as pumped!  Lots of cooking and major mood swings!  I'm hoping all the cooking today makes the weekend easier with leftovers

Sorry, this is actually against the rules... it's called SWYPO (sex with your pants on) and making sweet luxurious coffee creamers out of a bunch of random ingredients and a pinch of magic is not on... try finding Nutpods or Califia creamers if you want something in your coffee but the banana thing has to go, sorry.

Hi everyone, I started yesterday as well.  This is my second W30 (I successfully completed my first in July but didn't reintroduce properly).  I have a TON of food allergies so W30 is pretty close to how I normally eat.  I am allergic to gluten, dairy, yeast, and a myriad of other little thigns so I am used to avoiding foods or finding substitutions. The hard part is not grabbing a coconut milk yogurt or gluten free english muffin or SUGAR.  I am a bit of a sugar junky and once I get a little bit, it takes over.  With my last W30 I lost 15lbs and felt amazing.  I am a busy homeschooling momma of 6 so it is hard to squeeze in workouts but I need to start making exercise a priority.  I love the way I feel on W30 and I am excited to see how round 2 goes.  So grateful for the accountability!

I made Chicken Piccata over zucchini noodles for dinner last night...holy cow, it's my new favorite!  SOOOO savory and delicious!  Happy Day 3, all!

@SugarcubeOD Thanks for the offer to help!
For breakfast I've been alternating between these two recipes:
https://paleoglutenfree.com/recipes/whole30-sweet-potato-breakfast-bowl/amp/ (made with 2 TB of sunflower seed butter instead of almond butter, and with blueberries)
http://init4thelongrun.com/2014/03/26/whole30-madness-a-confession-a-new-recipe/# (without the vanilla) (Some might consider this SWYPO, but oatmeal is not a 'no brakes' food for me and I like that it helps me eat 2 eggs)
For lunch, the first two days I had:
    https://paleoleap.com/slow-cooker-butternut-squash-and-apple-soup/ (1 serving)
    AND 2-3 of these: http://nomnompaleo.com/post/91332244628/spicy-tuna-cakes
    AND 1/2 an avocado
AND EITHER 1 clementine, or a small portion of roasted broccoli
Today for lunch I instead had the SALAD ONLY portion of this https://paleoleap.com/coconut-shrimp-and-mango-salsa-salad/ AND 1/2 an avocado
AND spaghetti squash (about half of one) w/ 1 serving shrimp, 1/2 of an onion, and a serving of (compliant) tomato sauce
For dinners, night 1 was a salad at SweetGreen w/sweet potatoes, veggies, shrimp, and avocado. Night 2 was  https://paleoleap.com/coconut-shrimp-and-mango-salsa-salad/ (both the shrimp and the salad). Tonight was http://whitneybond.com/pesto-baked-salmon-foil-dinner/ (made with compliant broccoli pesto).
(in case you can't tell, I'm a pescatarian)
It's been going ok overall, but not snacking between lunch and dinner has been by FAR the hardest part, as I am usually starving by dinner. I feel ok at other times.
Sorry for all the info - thanks for your help!!

I'm quite daunted as this will be my first Whole30.
We eat well in our home.  But I've reached the over 40 point and no matter the exercise I'm doing I'm stuck in the 170's without budging for the past year.  I've taken my diet to more than one nutritionist who is unable to find any fault or room for improvement in it.  So here I am, desperate to feel more like myself and hoping that this might just be the secret to my lack of weight loss.  Perhaps there is a food I don't know I can't have and I've been eating it all this time!  So frustrating, but looking forward to new possibilities and starting with new hope!
