    Back in the Saddle - Round 2 - Starting 5/29

    Hi! My name is Dana :) I did my first Whole30 back in April and I’m ready to do another round! I’m glad I found this forum, May 29th is the perfect time for me to start again. One thing I found that helped me was to do a little introduction week before fully going in on Whole30. So that means slowly taking out the foods that were bad, instead of stopping cold turkey and going right in. I also made sure to find easy and fun recipes that I enjoyed. I DEFINITELY made sure to meal prep and be prepared for lunch and dinner, because those were my hardest meals. I’m excited to go again!

    I’ve been very quiet on here for a few days but I’m still going strong and on Day 17! I’m feeling great! My bloat is gone, I have more energy and strength during workouts and my family and friends can already tell a difference in me. i still don’t have the Tiger Blood but my diet wasn’t the best before starting this so I’ll have to be patient. im finding a new love for food and cooking. I’m discovering that food is fuel not a punishment or reward. you only get one life and one body to live it in, so I have to nourish it the best I can! I love that everyone is doing well! Keep it up

    Day 9 and I’m doin fine! I’m feeling great. The headaches have gone, and I’m completely less bloated than I have ever been before. And my stomach problems I had have subsided. I did have a dream last night that my friend was trying to sabotage my Whole30 by making me eat things, but i kept saying no. So my subconscious is even in check! Haha

    Day 3 went well for me! I did feel a little hungry throughout the day but I woke up earlier and with more energy than the first 2 days so that’s huge for me. I may feel hungry because I’m starting the day off with coffee and coffee usually makes me shaky. I’m not sure. So tomorrow I won’t drink any and see what happens!

    Yes you go girl! I’m sure this week will be hard, I’m also very determined! I’m tired of feeling like crap. Yes, good luck to us! We will get through it I’ll be checking in every day for support. I’m a great accountability partner if you need someone!

    @sanjosebarbie yes I am definitely the same way! Once I have sugar, I swear I feel more hungry! No wonder I’m having trouble losing weight. Whole30 has already opened my eyes

    Day 1 has commenced for me! And it’s going well, I’ve had two eggs, guac and greens for breakfast. Lunch was a chicken burger, green beans, a small sweet potato and mandarin orange! I’m definitely feeling the effects of Easter, I had too much sugar and had to take tums later last night. Ugh. I’m so happy to be making a change.

    @Hope4Overcomers I’m currently reading ‘The Whole 30’ so that way I’m knowledgeable before heading in! I still have a little bit of meal planning and then prepping to do but that’s not until later thanks so much for the encouragement!
