  1. Ladyshanny, thank you for this note. This is my 2nd reintroduction, the first I did as Fast, starting with non gluten alcohol. Sugar dragon won and I learned almost nothing. This time I started with fast roll out minus alcohol, soybeans and oils outside of whole 30 compliant ones. Now starting slow roll with my suspicions only tested when absolutely necessary and very very worth it. So I'm all in for a modified w30!

    Testing Canola oil

    Thanks Grace A. I was exposed at a restaurant after calling ahead to confirm I could be whole 30 compliant there. My digestive distress was fairly severe and came on fast so I am thinking I need to test it out. Canola seems to have a high prevalence for use in restaurants as the healthy option oil (clearly Canadian researches that invented the process did an outstanding marketing job).

    Accidently exposed to canola oil, gluten and soybean at hubbies birthday dinner out - fairly severe digestive distress. Took an extra day, 3 instead of 2, to calm my gut! How do u test Canola oil separately without buying a bottle of canola?

  5. Ok since no one else is here I'm going to try and emulate Jim4884 with insights into my 2nd reintroduction. Accidently exposed to canola oil, gluten and soy oil at hubbies birthday dinner out - fairly severe digestive distress. Took an extra day, 3 instead of 2, to calm my gut! Will test separately to see which was the culprit. Legumes: highly suspicious of Soy so have not reintroduced it with other legumes, will do a lone. Only slight gas after a large intro of beans, hummus and peanuts. I never eat more than one small serving a couple times a month so won't shy away once done with done with reintroduction. Non Gluten grains: suspicious of canola and corn oil so excluded them from this reintro day. Otherwise, piled on the grains with no cravings, sleep disturbance nor bloating. Will reintegrate in my normal lower frequency.
  6. Wow Jim4884 thank you! I'm on day 24 of my 2nd whole 30 and honestly my 1st reintroduction I started with non-gluten alcohol which awoke my sugar dragon and I never regained control of it. I am so very committed to honing a successful reintroduction with insights, like you have shared, into my own Food Freedom Forever!

  9. Come along for the Lent whole 30 reintroduction starting this Easter 2019. I am determined to have a very pure reintroduction to learn what my body can really handle to strive towards BFF! I am not reintroducing alcohol this time to keep my Sugar Dragon calm.

    I only fast from noon to 4. Otherwise no meat otherwise whole 30. I'm reintroduction Easter day. I will go ahead and start reintroduction group today instead of tomorrow so enter as your ready.

    Come on people join in here! I am at the end of my second whole 30 with a very active forum, that I did not find the first time, and am getting so very much more out of it. People in a subsequent whole 30 have been incredibly vaulable to my much more personally revealing experience. Jemcca50 come over and peruse "starting for lent" before we end this Saturday.

    MJ, since we last chatted about this I specifically removed coconut milk, per your suggestion, with no improvement in my skin or cravings. So I hit the menopause with decreasing estrogen theory. The literature and my female naturopathic Dr confirms that both negative side effects most likely are caused by our time in life rather than whole 30 elimination.
