    Hey, I'm not sure what all tummy troubles you are having, but have you every tried natural calm magnesium? You can get a compliant non-sweetened version and it helps you sleep. It also gives you diarrhea if you take too much at the beginning, so they recommend starting with half a dose and working your way up. Might help with your sleep problems? I have always had a lot of trouble sleeping, so I feel your pain. And congrats on making it through that party unscathed!

    I know what you mean but I think I agree with what @Crimsann said. I definitely don’t have the post lunch crash and I’m happy that I donmt have to eat constantly to stay from being crabby. I too feel like for the most part during the day I have a steady flow of energy. I just wish it lasted all day. I tend to still get tired after supper time.

    Happy halfway there day! I'm really hoping the tiger blood kicks in soon because I have felt so tired. I feel like I am definitely eating enough, but in the evenings I get so sleepy. Last night I made Well Fed's Classic Paleo Beef Stew in my instant pot. It came out great, but I left it out all night on accident. Hopefully it doesn't make me sick because I'm eating that anyway! I don't want it all to go to waste. Perhaps I have a strong stomach genetically... my grandmother use to leave chicken tenders out all night and eat them the next day all the time lol! Totally into the idea of burger night, I really want to try that Elvis burger! Hope you guys have a good halfway day heading into the weekend!

    Headaches

    I seem to get a headache about every day. I’m on day 14, drinking as much water as I can (more than normal) but still seem to need to take ibuprofen almost every day. Meals are as follows: yesterday breakfast: three eggs, about 1/2 cup sweet potato hash with ghee and coconut oil lunch: pork cauliflower fried rice, maybe 10 cherries, handful of nuts dinner: turkey burger with 1/2 avocado, one small white potato, Brussels sprouts, carrots. today breakstfast: same as yesterday lunch: whole 30 pad Thai with cashews, banana ate lunch about an hour ago and now have a headache. Usually in the afternoons this happens. Feel like if I drink more water I’m going to pee my pants...meaning I already go at least once an hour! Thought?

    Happy day 13! Almost halfway there. Yesterday I drove all day for work so I ate a little weird. All compliant, but definitely not in the template form. I think it's important to not stress about not having perfect meals every day for every meal. That's what I tell myself anyway Hoping to feel the tiger blood soon... I feel like I have been tired like I was eating like crap. Part of it might be that my smoke alarm keeps chirping in the middle of the night until I reset it. Anyone know what to do about that? Hope you all have a great Wednesday.

    Eggs make me feel icky sometimes too... it'll be good to figure out if that's why! Also, Yogi makes a great ginger-lemon tea if you need a new stomach soothing blend. I drink a few cups a day.

    Today I was riding to the store with my Mom and she unwrapped a lifesaver...the crinkle of the wrapper make me like Pavlov’s dog! Mouth salivating like crazy! Aside from that I feel like it’s been going pretty well. Had carrots and asked my mom if these were a different kind of carrot...they tasted so sweet! She said they tasted like normal carrots so it must be my tastebuds adjusting. I call that a nsv!

    Sugar cravings. BAD.

    Yesterday my cravings were through the roof...I ate: breakfast: three eggs, bell peppers and about 1/2 cup potatos lunch: salsa chicken, potatos and green beans dinner: same as lunch only added 1/2 an avocado i add the potatos because I find if I don’t eat enough carbs I can’t function and have really weird sweats, and extreme low energy. i have been making different recipes from Nom Nom and We’ll Fed, so more of my days have a little more variety than yesterday.
  10. Hi all, I am on day 8 and struggling. I know the worse your diet was to begin with, the worse off you are kind of detoxing but I’m going crazy over here. I would sell my soul for a cookie or a piece of candy, or SOMETHING. i have been drinking water and sticking very religiously to the plan and I’m not hungry, but am craving sugar badly! Any suggestions on how to cope would be greatly appreciated. I honestly don’t think quitting smoking was this bad!

    Starting whole30 6/1/18

    I'm excited we are one week in! I've been thinking so much about sweets... it's been hard. Still sticking to the plan though! Also starting to think about how to come out of this thing... I'm thinking I'll add dairy back since I never really had a problem with dairy that I know of so it'll be interesting to see how I feel with it. Going to make the Chicken Pad Thai that was posted on the whole 30 facebook today for lunch tomorrow. I'll let you all know how it is!

    Ya’ll I almost blew it. I poured out some Alexia sweet potato fries on a sheet to bake thinking these will be good with eggs in the morning...then thought I’ve got to check the ingredients just to be sure. Sugar! In sweet potato fries? WTH?! Also learned that my turkey burgers have sugar. Dammit!

    Hi guys! Sounds like everyone is doing mostly ok with the exception of @LIEvans lololol I don't know why I decided yesterday would be a good day to donate platelets for the first time in two years. For one I was hungry at the appointment (4:30) and couldn't partake in all of their yummy snacks (m&ms, chips, crackers, soda). I got through it with my bottle of water and proceeded to feel yucky the rest of the night. Glad I woke up feeling better today. Had a work meeting and luckily they had hard boiled eggs and fruit. Kind of an unnecessary snack but it felt needed in a social environment... has anyone else run into that? Well the extra egg on top of my morning 3 eggs has made me bloated as hell so lesson learned that it wasn't needed! Hope you all are hanging in there, we are almost through with our first week!

    Day 4 yall! I had a headache all day yesterday despite drinking what felt like gallons and gallons of water. I had the worst charlie horse Saturday night, it was actually sore all day yesterday! It's amazing to me how quickly you can feel changes in your body. My ankles have been swollen for at least the last two months and last night I realized that even after being on my feet all day they weren't swollen at all. The cooking all the time though... it's a struggle! SO. MANY. DISHES.

    Starting whole30 6/1/18

    Hi all! Day two! I feel lighter already...is that a thing? Trying to add some foods in that I haven’t had for a while to make this seem like a treat at times. Went to Whole Foods and remembered why it’s nicknamed Whole Paycheck! Feeling pretty sweaty today and wondering if it’s the lack of sugar or just the North Carolina heat. I’ve checked my thermostat three times and it swears it’s only 70 in here! Hope you all are doing well this first weekend!
