    That's a great post @Crimsann! I wish I could be more comfortable in my body. I lost 8 pounds on my whole 30 and all I can think about is how I need to lose about 50 more. You guys... I have been the worst in this reintro period. I did sooooo well on the plan and just took a giant leap into the deep end after it was over. First on Sunday I tried some cheese. My Mom made a cauliflower crust cheese pizza and I felt TERRIBLE. So I thought ok... dairy is out. Then I had all intentions of waiting the three days, but the 4th of July party happened and I ate all the gluten. I had chik-fil-a nuggets (who knew they offered a party platter), mac and cheese, and chocolate chip cookies. Oh and a brownie. I went craaaaaazy. Then felt terrible. I still feel terrible today. I had a stomach ache, reflux, bloating... the whole nine yards. I feel like I just want to do another whole 30 just to make my stomach feel better. I know they say you don't need to eat whole 30 forever, but what if you do? I don't know if I have any self control without the rules. Hope you all are doing better!

    I agree @Crimsann it has been really helpful to have us all go through the month together on this forum. I hope you all got out of it what you hoped! I definitely have less sugar cravings, but fear 30 days has not been long enough to tame my sugar dragon. I’m going to try and eek out a few more weeks of being sugar free and see how it goes from there. Definitely like @crimsann said, I hope we can all keep checking in over the next month or so to know how everyone is doing!

    Can you believe tomorrow is our last day?! I can't... I wasn't sure I was going to make it for a few days there around 18-20... all I could daydream about was pie, cake, cookies, ice cream... not I'm like meh. I wanted to share an amazing recipe with you guys... last night I made Nom Nom Paleo's Chicken Chow Main (without the mushrooms cause I hate mushrooms) and sugar snap peas instead of spinach. It was honestly one of the best recipes I've ever made. I swear it tasted like it had honey in it or something... Here's a link in case you want to try: Happy almost done with our whole 30!

    Happy day 25! I think I felt the tiger blood yesterday... that or I had a manic episode I got so much sewing and yardwork done... I felt like I was in the zone. Problem was then when I went to sleep, I woke up at 3am still in the zone. So I was awake for quite a while until I finally fell back asleep. I feel like I could do this forever and I'm not sure how I'm going to reintroduce. I was thinking I might just start out with Nom Nom's strawberry/banana/coconut milk ice cream. It's a paleo-fied dessert, but I have been really wishing for something cold in this NC heat. Other than that I kind of want to stay the course for now. What are you guys' plans for day 31?

    Starting tomorrow 06/25

    Welcome! I’m on day 24 and if I can do it, then you can too! I was eating McDonalds multiple times a week and had at least a few servings of a sugary treat every day. Be patient with yourself and do lots of preparation so you aren’t stuck without food when you are hungry! I also found drinking water helped if I am having a sugar craving...someone suggested eating a few cashews or something the opposite of sugar for cravings too but I haven’t had one in a few days.     @Crimsann Thank you so much for your response. I love the idea of looking to something nearby and thinking about eating it Ivan see that making me laugh and potentially getting my mind off of the craving. Also having the opposite sounds like a great plan. I will try that on the next upcoming craving because I know it will happen. I feel like I coasted though the last few weeks without much thought about sugary sweets and now my sugar dragon came roaring back. Today is a new day and I’m hoping it has passed!

    You guys...I think today has been the hardest day. I left work early to run errands and get my hair done. I had to pass my favorite cupcake shop and I swear everyone around me was talking about bread... I managed to hang on in no small part due to the bag of berries I brought. I realize that you’re not suppose to use fruit for a sugar craving but I was like a crazed lunatic looking for my next high. Anyone have any good recommendations for better ways to handle that?

    On day 1 whole 30

    Congrats on day 1! It’s Ana accomplishment just to start, for me it was anyway. I found drinking lots of water helped with the cravings. This is coming from someone who had candy every day and McDonalds multiple times a week. I’m on day 21 and it gets better! Good luck!

    Hey, I'm not sure what all tummy troubles you are having, but have you every tried natural calm magnesium? You can get a compliant non-sweetened version and it helps you sleep. It also gives you diarrhea if you take too much at the beginning, so they recommend starting with half a dose and working your way up. Might help with your sleep problems? I have always had a lot of trouble sleeping, so I feel your pain. And congrats on making it through that party unscathed!

    I know what you mean but I think I agree with what @Crimsann said. I definitely don’t have the post lunch crash and I’m happy that I donmt have to eat constantly to stay from being crabby. I too feel like for the most part during the day I have a steady flow of energy. I just wish it lasted all day. I tend to still get tired after supper time.

    Happy halfway there day! I'm really hoping the tiger blood kicks in soon because I have felt so tired. I feel like I am definitely eating enough, but in the evenings I get so sleepy. Last night I made Well Fed's Classic Paleo Beef Stew in my instant pot. It came out great, but I left it out all night on accident. Hopefully it doesn't make me sick because I'm eating that anyway! I don't want it all to go to waste. Perhaps I have a strong stomach genetically... my grandmother use to leave chicken tenders out all night and eat them the next day all the time lol! Totally into the idea of burger night, I really want to try that Elvis burger! Hope you guys have a good halfway day heading into the weekend!

    I seem to get a headache about every day. I’m on day 14, drinking as much water as I can (more than normal) but still seem to need to take ibuprofen almost every day. Meals are as follows: yesterday breakfast: three eggs, about 1/2 cup sweet potato hash with ghee and coconut oil lunch: pork cauliflower fried rice, maybe 10 cherries, handful of nuts dinner: turkey burger with 1/2 avocado, one small white potato, Brussels sprouts, carrots. today breakstfast: same as yesterday lunch: whole 30 pad Thai with cashews, banana ate lunch about an hour ago and now have a headache. Usually in the afternoons this happens. Feel like if I drink more water I’m going to pee my pants...meaning I already go at least once an hour! Thought?

    Happy day 13! Almost halfway there. Yesterday I drove all day for work so I ate a little weird. All compliant, but definitely not in the template form. I think it's important to not stress about not having perfect meals every day for every meal. That's what I tell myself anyway Hoping to feel the tiger blood soon... I feel like I have been tired like I was eating like crap. Part of it might be that my smoke alarm keeps chirping in the middle of the night until I reset it. Anyone know what to do about that? Hope you all have a great Wednesday.
