Oh that's beautiful! I am so glad it's going well! It's going well here, too, actually! I am shocked to be honest... my eating is not awesome... I have a slew of health issues, so I've been taking Magnesium for a while- isn't it great?! I also will take unisom for sleep. It's doctor recommended, non addictive. You can literally take it every night and have no addiction to it or negativity in your body due to it. I am a big fan. I don't take it nightly, more on the nights I'm too ramped up to sleep or Sunday nights because I've slept in a bit later than normal...

I have never, not ever, said those words. I don't get you... Also tonight the fam had tacos.. WHO ON EARTH PUTS SUGAR IN TACO SEASONING!?? What is this? Here I was thinking sugar meant candy, sweets, junk food, ice cream, syrups... Boy was I wrong...

YAYYY Four in. We've made it in. I'm doing well! No big issues thus far. I returned to work today for the first time & that was hard! Teacher lounges are FULL of junk food! But it was easier to say no because of this program. It's like a hard and fast rule rather than just 'trying to eat healthier'

    Hashimotos Thyroiditis

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, I am young!! I take a quite large replacement hormone as well- My November blood results show that my thyroid is functioning at about 20% independently. I see my endocrinologist on February 18, so I'll be curious to see what she sees, says, and recommends! If it's anything good- I'll be sure to pass it along!!

I made two soups and chicken nuggets yesterday that was amazing! I put a bunch of it in the freezer & that was the best idea! I teach & will need to grab lunch quick every day! Looks like we are about the same age! My big issues are- I don't like seafood and I don't like nuts...so there goes a lot of options! Maybe I'll have to try it again... What are your go to meals?

Yes- putting the words into action! I have an autoimmune disease & my endocrinologist really recommends giving this a shot. I have been mostly dairy free (minus chocolate mostly...) I'm excited to break some nasty habits... I love to snack throughout my work day! So, I'm excited to have much more control on what I'm eating / snacking on instead of whatever I grab that is easy... Two days down!! Where abouts are you? I'm in Michigan!

I just started today too!!! Here's to hoping and crossing fingers.... What is your motivation for wanting to do this?
  11. Hey everyone ! I'm a 25 year old teacher in Michigan with Hashimotos Thyroiditis. I was diagnosed just over three years ago. I also have chronic migraines (diagnosed 7 years ago), severe anemia, vitamin D deficiency, and a few other deficiencies. I saw my endocrinologist for the first time in November. She recommended trying Whole30... I laughed in her face... Then I processed and am taking the challenge... Anyone else have Hashimotos? Any success?
