People think you're crazy when you say your taste buds change after whole30 -- but it's proving to be very true as I continue to learn how others don't go back to previously "loved" items.

Ohh! also mayo. nothing by my own homemade mayo in the house. I absolutely love it.

I've truly embraced the habit of weekly meal prep, so much that if I would look in the refrigerator and NOT see an array of containers with colorful food choices -- I'd know I was having a nightmare.
A daily breakfast of protein & veggies is a basic part of my life now. And I've turned my back on all things dairy -- it's not worth the suffering.

First day and I made it.  Going to get a good night's sleep and do it again tomorrow!

Doctors appointment today, and it went great! My blood pressure went from high to normal it was 120/70! I have lost 15 lbs as well (I knew it had to be significant because my pants are too big now). I know you’re not supposed to weigh yourself but they always weigh you at this doctor. Also I’m off Prilosec, I’m no longer nauseous...ever. Even my back pain is better.
The Whole 30 works, y’all.

Cauliflower (and other cruciferous vegetables, like broccoli or kale) definitely makes some people feel bloated. I know for myself, I can have these vegetables some, but if I eat them every day for several days, or if I eat them raw, this feeling gets worse, so play with how often you're having them or how much of them you're having. There are plenty of other vegetables out there, try some other for a while.
Nuts also are pretty hard to digest and cause issues for many people, so you might try cutting them out for a while. If you do choose to have them, try to keep it to a small handful, occasionally.
Either of those two things could be affecting you, or it could be that you need a little more time -- you're just at the halfway point, and it might take you a little bit longer to adjust.
I would suggest keeping a food log and noting when you feel bloated and when you don't, so maybe you can narrow things down some more as far as what might be causing this.

I use it for sure! every time I cook bacon I strain the fat and put it in a jar in the fridge. I also  save the fat from roasting chicken. Just put it in the fridge and scrap off all the lovely white fat after it separates from the juices and solidifies. Delish!
Hot bacon fat drizzled on greens = amazing! or to use it to oven roast veggies. Mmmm. now i'm drooling

I like the flavor bacon gives to what I cook with it. Yum!
