Hi - I am 59. Like you, I was feeling terrible this year being sedentary, isolated and working from home. I started Whole30 on June 24, and I am on DAY 30 today. While I haven't had the increase in energy that is frequently mentioned, I do feel much more clear-headed, and have a HUGE improvement in my blood sugar levels. I wish I had done this years ago. The first few days were really hard, but I got used to it rather quickly. Give it a try!!!

Hi - I am on Day 30 today!!!!!!!!!! I have been struggling with my high blood sugar for many many years. On Whole30, my blood sugar first got into the normal range on Day 8, and has mostly been under 120 since Day 14. For me, this is a freaking miracle!
I always thought I would have to be extremely low-carb to reduce my blood sugar, but I don't feel that Whole30 was low-carb - I ate plenty of fruit, potatoes, and green peas (thank goodness for green peas!!).
