  1. Thank you for your detailed answer. Yeah-I wasn’t being fair to the program to say I had no benefits. And no, I didn’t really follow the template as much as I did the RealPlan recipes. Tho I did tinker with portion size depending on recipes. I’ll review the template, and read the article you posted. Thanks again.
  2. I am on about day 39, fast track reintroduction phase. I am unimpressed with results and wondering where I may have slipped up. I def went thru serious detox, and continued thru day 30 with dedication, no off-program foods, using RealPlans throughout. So proud of myself. Lost 12 pounds-yay!!! But where is my Tiger blood? I never got the magic rush of energy so highly touted by the program. I am feeling fatigued and unmotivated. Have been exercising, so not ignoring that. I am going thru lots of personal change w therapy, but nothing difficult has come up lately. Anyone have any ideas? Pleas
  3. I have very high cholesterol which I am working on with my PA. What do you all say about the high amount of red meat included in this diet? Can I sub out? Or does the overall structure of the diet (with so many low-value food restrictions ) diminish chances of increased cholesterol?
  4. Oh my. I did not realize that. Thank you fir that heads up!
  5. In terms of small portions, another responder in this forum said to definitely eat as much as I need. So I don’t worry about portion size.
  6. Oh. Hadn’t expected that (components missing) as it’s a Whole30 app. And yes I’m surprised at the amount of fat we eat. Tho in keto diets it’s like that too. And if I need a little extra I always go to approved nuts or parts of approved food bars. But that’s not every day. Thanks-yes-I eat fruit, a little dried fruit, and lots of sweet potatoes and squash. But I used to eat crackers, chips, sugary treats. So I wasn’t surprised at the withdrawal effects. Just surprised that it persisted. I still haven’t felt the “ magic” and I’m in 3rd week. Oh-and I have been following the Real Plans

  8. I had serious Keto flu for first week into second. Felt much better toward end of 2nd week, But now on cusp of 3rd week I have hit a wall again. Normal? I want my Tiger Blood!!!
  9. Shannon-thanks. I find there is so much info-and GOOD info-that I sometimes forget what I’ve seen.
  10. I noticed one of my recipes described 1batch = 8 servings. I’m pretty sure in the noted cooking dish size (8x6) that 1/8th is NOT gonna be a satisfying amount. Since we don’t count calories etc., and I think I’ve read eat until you’re full, is it okay to go beyond a serving size? Thanks-still learning-on day 11!
  11. Laura, I am on week 2 and have just gotten over the hump of fatigue, aches and emotionality. It was pretty wretched. But I have a friend who coached me thru that so I expected it all. Suffering all that actually confirmed for me the diet changes were working! Hang in there and stay focused on your goals!
