My husband and I tried our first Whole30 back in 2013 and made it to day five. I would have killed someone (mostly my husband) for a slice of pizza. We quit.
We moved to Japan in 2014 and eating Paleo became more difficult- so we gave up and turned back to a SAD way of eating. The pounds were packing on out of control. My health was spiraling downward. I found myself binge eating more and more in a vicious cycle of depression. Things were not looking good.
In July 2017 we decided enough was enough and we jumped into doing a Whole30. The benefits were immediate. By about day 13 I was vowing to never return to the way we had been abusing ourselves.
