About Me

I've always been determined and driven... until life came to a screeching halt in October 2008.  Since then, I've been working hard to overcome endometriosis and endocrine system deficiencies (thyroid, adrenals, sex hormones)... MY way.  In the spring of 2009, I slowly but surely started getting my life back on track through diet changes and other non-invasive approaches after swearing off most typical 'traditional' (awful) treatment.  I'm embarking on my 3rd Whole30, only I'm making it a Whole60.  

When I'm not experimenting with myself, I manage projects for a commercial construction company and like to meet up with friends over dinner.  The foods I miss the most since going GF/DF a few years ago are beer, cheese, and ice cream - in that order.  But, I'd rather give up food than my quality of life!
