Your 3yr old chooses a breakfast of avocados, eggs and raisins over the not so sugary cereal you have in the pantry.

I have three kids.  5, 3 and 8 months.  I work full time and am still nursing and pumping at work.  I eat three meals a day.  I don't have time for a 4th and I don't snack.  My milk supply is fine.  My energy level is fine until about 8 at night, but I wake at 4am and still nurse baby girl at midnight so, it is to be expected.

I think making sure you get your nutrition with your three meals is key, so your body doesn't suffer because you are robbing from it to give the baby the nutrition you need.  So take your pre natals and eats lots of veggies when you do eat and your are fine.

Elizabeth! got a reaction from bellewannabe17 in Gassy 8 week old?
So first off, if your baby is breastfed, it is perfectly normal for the poop cycle to slow down after the first few weeks.  My 7 month old still only poops every few days.  When she poops it is a doozy!!

As for the gas, you have probably increased your veggie intake and some veggies will cause a gassy baby.  For my baby, cabbage, brussell spouts, bok choy all cause excess gas.  My baby passes the gas easily and does not seem uncomfortable so I don't worry to much about it, but you may want to keep a food diary to help you figure it out if it is bothering the baby.  (It could also be eggs, but I have never had problems with that, we had dairy issues for a while, but that has been solved and replaced with cabbage issues, yea fun.  The cabbage farts are not a stinky as the dairy farts)

I made this last week, it was awesome

    2lb Boneless Chuck Roast, trimmed
    1 medium onion, sliced
    3 tbsp red curry paste
    1 (14.5 oz ) can coconut milk
1 Tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
    1tsp salt
    1 Red Bell Pepper sliced

    1.  put meat in slow cooker
    2. stir together curry paste, coconut milk, red pepper flakes and salt .  Poor over Roast
    3.  Cover and cook on low 6 hours.  Add Red Bell pepper and cook one hour longer (I did this but just let the red bell cook while I made the cauli rice, it did not take a full hour)

    Serve with Cauli Rice

My husband gets home before me too. In the mornings, I often make a meat loaf or prep an oven dish and an oven veggie, and just leave him instruction to turn on the oven on at X temp and put in the meat for X time and them put the veggies in at x time.

Not my first Whole30.  I have attempted 5ish, but completed 3.  I frequently do Whole14s or WholePaleo14s to get back on track since I discovered the Whole 30 philosophy.

I had a baby 2.5 months ago and decided I needed a committed whole30 to get back to my Paleo way of eating after my third trimester, where I failed miserably at staying mostly Paleo.

So here I am day 11.  Because I was so off course for the last 5 months, I have been through the typical steps.  Hangover, Kill all the things....  Kill all the things was particularly difficult with a 3 year old that just would not take a nap the whole time.  Just had to take a deep breath to not kill all the things....I almost hyperventilated.

Day 11 and I am feeling good.  My sinuses are clearing and my knees feeling better.  I have been cooking mostly every night.  Last night the kids had fast food and I had leftovers because we got home so late.  Yeah, I know I am not doing my kids any favors, but it was better than letting them starve while I tried to manage a hungry baby and two cranky kids while I attempted to cook after we got home so late, because dad couldn't pick them up from school.  I am sure I would have faltered under the stress.  I mean there were mini cinnamon rolls sitting on my counter.  (Thanks Babe, love ya for that)

A few things I need to work on:
Lara Bars - Just say no
    Scale - Stop peaking
    Add Exercise

I just looked at my time hop and saw pictures from after my first whole30 experience.  Wow I looked great!!
