My first whole30 was way back in 2013. I had no idea what I was getting myself into and while it hasn't been smooth sailing all the time, I was amazed at the results we got from just 30 days of eating good food.
Since then I have done 6 more whole30's and it has become my go-to whenever I feel I need a reset. It has helped me cure a back problem I had and it has helped me walk again after crushing my ankle in a really bad accident two years ago. The doctors told me I might never really recover with a 95% likelihood of my ankle bone deteriorating. I proved them wrong and for me the whole30 has been a major part of that process.
My job is food photographer and I live in the Netherlands with Tom and our two cats.
