    Yes, it will be nice to bring a few things back into my diet that were off-limits because of ingredients (bacon, almond milk). I know there are more, but those are the two that come to mind. I haven't gotten on the scale, and honestly I don't think I've lost a single pound. Not that I really needed to, but I have been struggling with sluggish digestion this entire month. My clothes don't fit any better / looser, so I can't imagine that the number has changed. Even if it has, I'm more dialed in to the way my clothes feel than the number on the scale. Although I'd love to have a beer just because I can, I'm not going to. This wasn't a program that was forced on me, which strangely would have that feeling if I jumped right back to my old habits "just because..." but I think I have more to learn about my relationship with food and my digestive issues by going longer. Maybe I shouldn't add those things back in just yet. However I am still planning to have a beer on Sunday I am trying to get more details on fast track v. slow roll, but I think that's laid out in the book, and maybe not in so much detail on the website. So our department is having a post-holiday luncheon on Monday Feb 8th. I have no idea what type of food will be offered so it's hard to feel prepared. What group of foods would I be willing to have if I make this a reintro day? I'm sure many (most) will be combination foods, or have crappy ingredients. I should probably avoid sugar. And probably avoid gluten products. I don't have a huge desire to eat legumes or non-gluten grains in my regular diet, however they're probably the safest to begin with. Thoughts?

    Starting 1/4/16

    I've had that feeling several times, but it's usually fleeting. I've also had moments of craving sugar. All this in the last 5 days. I'm starting to think about my reintro and how I'm going to do it. I think I will add dairy first, but I don't have any dairy in the house, so maybe I should think about something else. There really isn't anything else I feel strongly about reintroducing; maybe I should just keep on keeping on for a little while. I am planning to have a beer on Superbowl Sunday! I also may make the Buffalo Chicken Chopped Salad from Mel Joulwan again, or the SBJ Burger. Both of those felt like serious comfort food, delicious and W30 approved too.

    I made my first batch of BEEF bone broth, but I have a question, and I can't seem to find an answer anywhere! What do I do with the marrow? I roasted my bones (a combination of marrow bones and neck bones with connective tissue) for 30 minutes, then put them in cold water with ACV, and let my crock pot do the simmering for about 40 hours. When I took out the marrow bones, the marrow spilled out onto the plate. I know it's incredibly healthy, but what do I do with it? Put it back in the broth? Eat it plain (ew, weird)? Add it to something else? I'd love some help from folks who have used it before! I had a great cookup this weekend - sausage stuffed acorn squash, liver and onions, damn fine chicken, sunrise scramble, belly dance beet salad, turkey cranberry meatballs and kickin' cranberry sauce, cauliflower rice, coconut almond green beans and chili lime sweet potato fries, but my favorite, which surprised the heck out of me, was the SBJ Burger. I felt like I was completely off-plan! And I was never a peanut butter and jelly girl, but something about the flavors on a grass-fed burger - mmmmm. So incredibly delicious. It's Day 22 (WOW) and I'm still dealing with a sluggish digestion. It's gotten so bad that I broke down and started using a little Miralax. I also tried eating a couple of prunes, but that's treading in shallow water for me because they are so sweet, and ya even though they're prunes, I could totally eat half the bag. That would cause a completely different problem lol. I've considered getting prune juice. I'm taking 2 tsp of Calm in the evening, but it really isn't moving things as I'd hoped. Neither is the Smooth Move tea. I'm totally baffled by this. Maybe the bone broth will help

    This is so very true. This is my 4th W30 and it is different than the other 3. My relationship with food is also very different. I have never had stomach/digestive issues, but that's what I've got this time around. Today actually feels better than the previous 15, but I'm still not at my "norm." I haven't had any cravings to speak of, and no real food challenges. I'm making meals I didn't make on my other 3, so the change-up is really nice. Maybe that's why I haven't had any food boredom. Yesterday I made Buffalo Chicken Chopped Salad (Well Fed) and omg it's amazing! I should have doubled the chicken part Also have made pork tenderloin with sweet cherry sauce, roasted brussels sprouts with pomegranate, green velvet soup, sweet and sour kale, and lemon potato salad with arugula. I definitely feel Well Fed My sleeping is okay. Even with the magnesium supplement I wouldn't say it's great, but I think it's beginning to have an effect on my digestion. Being post-menopausal, my sleeping is crappy anyway. I have really noticed how folks' experiences differ in this thread. It helps me to remember what I've taken away from each W30. And just because I wasn't eating that poorly before this one (except for my month-long slip into gluttony over the holidays), it didn't exempt me from a different set of observations this time around. I can't believe we're in the second half of the month already.

    I ran out of my magnesium supplement, and the one I usually get is on back-order. I actually stopped by my co-op Friday, and they had it; I thought they only had the cal-mag variety. Hoorah! It has helped, but I'm not yet completely comfortable. I'm in Colchester, just north of Burlington. I love the town of Brandon - so pretty and unique. I had a great day today. Got up early for a Sunday (6:45), walked the dog, had leftover Scheherazade Omelet, and headed up to the mountain for my first ski day in almost 2 years! (Had major back surgery in March 2015). It was a perfect morning, and I skied 6 runs, then headed home by 11. It was just starting to get busy, my legs were pretty dead, and it was getting overcast. Stopped at the store and picked up a couple of things for cooking tomorrow, and was able to sit down and watch most of the Panthers-Seahawks game. Sewed a neck warmer for my granddaughter and started a sweatshirt for her. I feel so accomplished!

    Hehe 40 days in January?!? Still dealing with stomach issues - going to try and find some magnesium citrate until my order comes in. Northern Vermont doesn't have too many large stores, and our small food coop and health food market don't carry a lot of things. Even our Trader Joes (which just arrived about 18 months ago) is different than most, so they say...

    Now that you mention it, I have been adding more salt to my food. But the odd thing is that I'm not getting any cardio so I wonder why I feel compelled to add it. Some things are fine without it because they're loaded with spices, but some things (eggs) just need a shake or two. I've too have had the thought of having a beer, but I haven't actually desired one. I do like some bubbly beverages, so I have a seltzer with lunch and a kombucha or water kefir when I get home from work. So true! I haven't missed dairy products, but I almost absent-mindedly cleaned off a spoon that had been used to scoop out a bite of cream cheese (made my granddaughter a snack). And I will be making a meal for a friend who just had a baby; I don't think the cooking or baking will trigger a craving, but I'll have to be more mindful of my actions! For me, I have been struggling on and off with stomach issues. I'm not usually one that has any trouble with my stomach, so I'm thinking I really overdid the garbage food before the W30 started. My stomach seems to be doing better, but my digestion seems to be ridiculously slow. Not to be graphic, but I am not eliminating all that I am ingesting in a very timely fashion - it seems to be moving through the system at a snail's pace. I had a cup of Smooth Move tea last night, and it hasn't even stimulated anything dramatic (good thing since my work day has been non-stop busy with patients today). But it's really uncomfortable and this has never happened on a W30 before. Although wait, maybe my second one back in the Spring of 2014 started out like this. I ended up on the AIP protocol because nothing was helping. It was awful. My dr had me tested for everything she could think of, and after 4+ months, it simply resolved. The 3-day stool test came back with some parasite, but my doc said if we treat it with antibiotics it will wipe out the good bacteria, so we let it be. This time around it's not quite like that, but the discomfort is something virtually unknown in my experience. I looked at the timeline today, and noticed that thoughts of alcohol around days 10-11 seem to be relatively common. I'm skeptical about having Boundless Energy starting on Day 12, but who knows. I've made some new and different meals and I've been very satisfied. I don't think I'm overeating, but it has crossed my mind. I still get slightly hungry an hour or so before my next meal. My clothes are still tight I don't have any thoughts of bailing on the program, and I might just decide to go longer than 30. I would love to try some recipes with compliant bacon, but I can't find it locally and I can't afford it from US Wellness Meats. So I've contemplated using proscuitto (porkitos) in it's place - it just won't hold up as well in some recipes.

    How very true! I have a lot of boards on Pinterest, and it's amazing what people post and say it's Whole30 Really, Whole 30 DESSERTS??? Or things with honey. Or other "forbidden" ingredients. They have completely missed the point. I have modified more recipes than I can count. When it seems like a recipe needs a teensy tiny smidgeon of sweetness, I do what Mel and Michelle (NomNom) do - dissolve one date in 1 Tbs of warm water and use that, although that was in past W30's I've done (I think this was when I made compliant Sriracha sauce). Now, quite honestly, I avoid anything that's sweet and generally I don't think any recipe needs to be sweetened, and prefer to limit my fruit as well. Just taking a hard, close look at my relationship with food.

    Good morning everyone and YAY for Day 8! I feel great! Ahhh :D My stomach is almost back to normal and I haven't had a headache in a few days. My energy feels really good. I'm so glad I'm doing this. Didn't really feel like riding the spin bike last night, but pushed myself to do it, and I'm glad I did. I hit a Grouchy Wall last night when my TV remote caused my TV to lock on one channel and I couldn't switch to watch the second Wild Card game. I'm a football junkie Both my sons played football through elementary, middle and high school, and even played semi-pro after college. I got so frustrated and I swear I went up the bit**iness scale in minus 2 seconds. I had to call Comcast to have them reset my box, and by that time I'd missed the first half hour of the game. I was very very cranky. But then I got on my bike and watched the rest of the game, and all was good in my world. Can't wait for my foot (plantar fasciitis) to calm down so I can run. This has been one of the mildest winters on record. <sigh> at least it's nice for walking the dog.

    Wrapping up Day 7 - woohoo. No more headaches, and my stomach is feeling a bit better. I made one of my favorite breakfasts today, it's an egg roll-up (http://eatdrinkpaleo.com.au/caramelised-onion-carrot-baked-omelette-roll-recipe/comment-page-1/#comment-122643), but it takes too much time to prepare on work mornings. Ever since my first W30 I have made homemade mayo - can't go back to the c**p that's sold in the stores And like SusanB, I wouldn't be able to do this without the recipes from Well Fed (Melissa Joulwan) and NomNom Paleo. I made Sunshine Sauce today, and omg it is a flavor explosion! It will be delicious on veggies or meat. The next one I want to make is Zingy Ginger Dressing. I have a few pears that I need to use in a W30 dish, but I haven't found anything yet. (Receive fruit boxes from Harry & David as a Christmas gift). I had to throw out 2 pears and hope to use the remaining 4 before they go bad. I'm sure the next fruit delivery will be coming before the end of the month. I don't usually eat whole fruit on my W30's, because my sugar dragon gets confused - it's too much sugar even though it's technically ok. I made Well Fed's Waldorf Tuna Salad for lunch tomorrow, along with a big salad and a wedge of fresh coconut.

    Day 6 started with a delicious Rainbow Hash and eggs - question: if my egg is a double-yolker does it count as 2? I suppose it doesn't really matter Feeling a little better stomach-wise. Rode spin bike for an hour last night and had a good night's sleep. Eating well. Although I find that I'm hungry about 3 hours after my meals, but I'm so full when I'm done. I think it's just my body adapting. I haven't snacked AT ALL! If I'm super hungry, I'll have a cup of tea. But I'm really trying to get back on track and I know it might take awhile.

    praxisproject it occurred to me last night that the exercise could go either way - it could end up aggravating the headache, or it might help my digestive tract move things through. i only pedaled at about 65% of MHR so the intensity was very low. i do believe it helped rather than hurt, but i realize that's not always the case got the orthotics fitted by my p/t this morning, and she said not to assume that i won't be able to run again. i need to let the fascia calm down, since it's not full-blown plantar fasciitis. i can wait until spring - although winter still doesn't seem to have arrived. wonder if we'll be able to ski - bought a pass last year and never used it, ended up having back surgery. this year - - so far no snow i am loving the new foods i cooked! food boredom is not a good thing in my experience, so finding fairly easy, fairly inexpensive new recipes is CRITICAL!! YAY Day 5! no cravings, no mood swings, no food dreams, just a bloated unhappy stomach and late day headaches. "this too shall pass..." "don't quit before the magic happens..."

    This headache is lasting a bit longer than 1 or 2 days My poor body is trying to get all those dang toxins out. I spent 50 minutes on my spin bike tonight. And tomorrow I see my p/t to get some orthotics - hopefully it will help with the numbness in my foot, and the plantar fasciitis. I was hoping to ski this weekend, but it looks like our weather is going to climb back up into the 40's and rain. Boo. Ah well, more opportunity to cook up some awesome food. I'm really looking forward to the day when my belly feels normal again. Been having a kombucha or water kefir once a day. And as I've been reading posts, I realized that booksandcoffee and ladyshanny were part of the last W30 I did, the Spring into May (2015)! Nice to see you again

    This is a great thread! Reminds me of some of the challenges of my earlier W30's. I don't think I ever had food dreams, but I was completely ready for everything (I printed out the Timeline). I have used the Whole30 to challenge and change my relationship with food. I no longer use food to reward myself which has been so freeing in a way I could never have predicted. And it's incredibly satisfying to make some compliant meals and share them with my family when they have no interest in changing their eating behaviors - they are usually super impressed with the food and I have also gotten the comment "I could eat like this." Most of my family has no interest in planning and cooking to eat this way though. It does take a commitment. Today was an okay day - I brought my granddaughter out to the backyard to try her skis on snow for the first time! It was fun - she kept saying she was so excited I'm still getting a late day headache, but the intensity is decreasing. I was able to cook up a couple of things today so it makes meal planning much easier. My stomach is still very unhappy - it seems like more than just being bloated. There was a day over the holidays that I ate a bunch of the sweet treat gifts people gave me and I had the sensation that my belly "popped." It sort of blew outwards, almost like being pregnant. It hasn't recovered (yet) and still feels miserable. I'm hoping it will resolve as I continue eating compliant. Before I had this fall-out into gluttony, I had modified my diet to eliminate nightshades to see if it would improve the arthritis in my hands, and it made a difference I think. I've slowly re-introduced a few things (tomatoes, peppers, spices) and things seem to be stable, but now that I made a couple of meals, I wonder if I'll see a return of symptoms. I had already added all the ingredients before I realized that I wasn't adding them discreetly so I won't know which one bothers me. <sigh> Bfast: homemade sausage patty, sauteed kale, fried egg Lunch: leftover Thai coconut shrimp soup, 1/2 sauteed chicken breast with a spoonful of homemade mayo Dinner: sweet potato sloppy joes, steamed turnip greens

    Good morning Day 3! I figured out why I succumbed to poor, no BAD, eating behaviors at the beginning of December - I had back surgery in March and have slowly been able to resume some of my former activities, but every time I start getting my running back on track, I have another setback (IT Band, Plantar Fasciitis, etc). I saw my osteopath at the beginning of December and he basically said that there is nothing that can be done for my torn hamstring, except going to PRP (which I just can't afford). So I have permanent numbness in the ball of my foot from the sciatica/stenosis, and the prospects of running again are slim. There is no other exercise that can replace running to me, so I'm going to have to find something new. In the meantime, I think I sort of gave up - threw in the towel, maybe I was trying to avoid becoming depressed about it so I ate. And ate. And ate. And now - I feel disgusting. And nothing is solved. So I knew I needed a W30 and January is a perfect time to reset. I haven't had any difficulty adapting to it, but I have done it a few times so switching over is pretty easy. I eat very close to W30 most of the time, so I don't crave foods at all. Sometimes I miss things (beer), and I don't go out, so I don't have to worry about restaurant food. I don't (usually) keep any junk in my house because it's too easy for me to do the ole "mindless eating." I've pulled out a bunch of old favorite recipes and some new ones, and have done some shopping, so now I just need some time to cook-up. I'm making Sweet Potato Sloppy Joes (from Paleonewbie, modified so it's compliant); Well Fed's Waldorf Tuna Salad; Ground Beef and Butternut Squash Breakfast Skillet (from the Healthy Foodie). I still need to get a few groceries to round out my other recipes (Well Fed's Pad Thai; Char Sui; Green Velvet Soup; Rhubarb and liver with chard and horseradish cream, modified to be compliant; and pomegranate pork loin with cabbage). That just my first 10 - 14 days. I've got some awesome breakfast recipes to prepare too. Hope everyone has a SUCCESSFUL and COMPLIANT day 3!

    I ended up with a nasty headache yesterday afternoon and attributed it to "detoxing" since the past 2 weeks were filled with so much junk. I ate 3 good, compliant meals with no snacking. I noticed that the forum doesn't allow the user to edit the entry (unless I just can't find it); I used to edit my post at the end of the day instead of writing a whole new post. Today's meals: Bfast - 2 eggs with stir fried vegetables and half an avocado, 2 cups green tea; one cup of decaf black coffee when I got to work Lunch - can of tuna in oil, salad with homemade dressing (olive oil, cider vinegar, minced garlic, compliant dijon mustard, a little salt & pepper), wedge of fresh coconut, can of seltzer Before dinner, a bottle of water kefir (homemade) Dinner - turkey burger with shredded zucchini, cilantro and garlic topped with an arugula guacamole and twice-fried plantains, small wedge of coconut I got the dinner meal from an AIP search - technically it is compliant, but I think my plantain was too ripe because it was super sweet and I'm afraid it could be a danger food. I've had ripe plantains in Pastelon (compliant) and they didn't trigger the same sweetness response. So I think I will freeze the leftovers to enjoy after my W30. So far this has been easy and I haven't even done a cook-up yet. Wednesdays I take care of my 3-year old granddaughter, and I have a few of her foods around, so the hard part will be when she wants to share with me and I need to decline and eat my own food. Also, I may find it a little harder not to snack with her around. This time around I wanted to change my (decaf) coffee consumption. I usually have 1-2 large cups of decaf with light cream in the morning after I get to work, but I'm going down to just one regular sized cup and then switching over to water. I don't have a problem getting enough water, but I want to challenge some of my habits. Once I get some compliant options cooked-up, I'll post some pictures and links to the recipes. That's been helpful to me in the past.

    Hooray it's Day 1!! So happy to be doing something wonderful for myself. (Despite thinking eating loads of chocolate and cookies and sweets and alcohol was "wonderful...") I went through all my vitamins yesterday and discovered that I needed to put most of them away. <sigh> It's okay. I found a melatonin that is compliant, and that's key since being post-menopausal my sleep is not what it used to be and I count on Melatonin to help. Super busy day at work today, which might be a good thing. Here's my day so far: Bfast: 2 eggs with lots of stir fried veggies, 1/2 avocado, 2 cups green tea, 1 cup black coffee (at work) Lunch: Thai coconut shrimp soup, salad with olive oil/cider vinegar dressing Hope everyone is feeling pumped on Day 1 and I look forward to reading about everyone's adventures!

    I'm so pysched about doing this (4th) W30. I've been preparing food in advance, pulling out recipes of things that are compliant and will make food new and exciting as the month goes on - took all the "off-limits" food out of my cabinets. There is still a little dairy I need to finish or throw out on Sunday. I have made a list of the groceries I need for the next week or so. Also have checked out the soups I have in the freezer to make sure they're compliant - so thrilled - they pass! Most of the time I eat very close to the W30, but the last 5-6 weeks have gone in the opposite direction. I feel awful. My stomach is unrecognizable to me. My food cravings are through the roof. I hate living this way. This W30 will be a re-set for me. As I mentioned before, each W30 reveals a deeper level about my food issues. I stopped using coconut milk and coconut cream in my coffee on my 3rd W30, and drank it black for 5 months. I gave up "comfort foods" on a whole new level. I am hoping I will learn more about my food issues so I can eliminate them and become less driven by food. A friend of mine is going on the Ketogenic Diet. I've looked at it, and of course i get tempted, but I've done Atkins before and don't remember feeling amazing at the end. When I'm doing a W30 I feel SO GOOD. I feel like I'm treating my body and myself so well. It is such a "deep" experience!

    Hello everyone! I have been thinking about doing my 4th W30 after this round of holidays. My 3rd was in May 2015 after having back surgery and fusion. Each time I do this, my understanding of food and myself goes to a deeper level. These past few weeks have been miserable, emotions and food-wise. I don't feel good in my body and have not been treating it well. So here I am! Thanks for starting this thread!
  20. I had a laminectomy and fusion of L4-L5 on March 4th. Recovery has been going very well, but I'm still under some pretty strict limitations. I decided to start my third W30 on May 1st, and have been doing fantastic, feeling great. Today, however, I mentioned it to my doctor and was advised that this will inhibit the fusion as I am not consuming any dairy. The calcium is required for a successful fusion. I countered that I'm eating lots - and I mean lots of kale and broccoli, to which the reply was the calcium in plants is not well assimilated for building bone. I got really scared. Obviously I want the fusion to be successful. I will have a 12-week post op visit at the end of May where they take an xray to see how the fusion is progressing. It couldn't be seen on the 4-week post-op visit, not enough time for the fusion to heal. Apparently the bone will continue to "lay down" for 6-12 months, so I am told I'll need additional calcium during this period. Does anyone have legitimate resources for me to explore about the assimilation of calcium from sources other than dairy? I really don't want to take a supplement, but I will if necessary. I'm really kind of bummed now
  21. it sounds like you've had quite a time of it imullmau - I hope you are feeling like things are improving for you. I am incredibly grateful for my surgeon and physical therapist and osteopath. They helped me correct imbalances and gain strength before surgery so my recovery has been optimal. At my 12-wk post-op visit, they showed me the early bone formations around the hardware, the fusion was a success! And they are encouraging me to be active - running, biking, gardening, lifting weights - in order to continue to build the bone density. I've been taking a calcium supplement, having some calcium-fortified oj and cashew milk, taking K2, potassium citrate, vitamin D3 and magnesium as well. And I recently read about Diatomaceous Earth and the silica within can help with osteopenia (among other things). So I've begun taking that on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning. My diet regularly includes kale, broccoli, sardines, salmon (w/bone) and almonds. I should think I have it covered, but I still had a moment of freak-out when my p/t said I shouldn't cut out dairy. After a bit of research, I feel like I made the right move. I was able to complete my W30 successfully! And I have a DEXA scan scheduled for later this month.

    Okay, so my lunch wouldn't really classify as a meal. I had a Fage 2% yogurt and lots of cherries along with a big tablespoon of almond butter. But I have a great dinner planned veal t-bone with steamed baby spinach and mashed sweet potato. And a bit of gelato. If anyone wants to follow along in the post-W30 log, I used the same name to keep it simple. That way we can post what we're eating without making it tough on the folks who are continuing on. I simply had no willpower and fell head-first into everything I couldn't have. Didn't stop to ask myself if I wanted it. In fact, in the moment I probably would've said YES. But this time, I asked myself if I actually wanted it instead of indulging just because I could. This is very different for me. Progress I would say!! I am really hoping I can continue to do the re-intro as suggested. After all it's just food. It will be there later if I still want it. (I seriously can't believe I'm saying this. Something definitely changed this time). Tomorrow I'm going to check my bodyfat on my scale. I didn't do it this morning, mostly because the algorithm in the scale is very unkind to older women who are fit. My bodyfat isn't as low as when I was training and competing, but it's surely not above 25%. The scale asks for gender, height and age, and then computes bodyfat and weight. If I enter my age correctly as 55, it says I have 32% bf, but if I enter my age as 35, my bf drops to 25%. Obviously my gender, height and weight didn't change in 20 seconds. I know as we age, we carry more bodyfat, but if I were to use the calipers, I know it wouldn't be 32%. So I'll check it just for sh**s and giggles.

    Happy Day 31 everyone!! Whew. I broke down last night and had a mini beer on Day 30. I didn't want to have it on the day before work, so I embibed last night around 5. I can live with that. Everything else about my day was compliant, and I actually wasn't cranky. I did a little gardening, washed the dog AND washed the car (the one I'm going to sell), changed my sheets, made hummingbird nectar and vacuumed! My back was sore, but not bad enough for tylenol. I really don't want to start taking NSAIDs again (not permitted in first 12 weeks post-fusion). Since my back is fixed, I should not need to take them regularly. YAY!! So this morning I decided to re-introduce dairy, because I've been craving a creemee (ice cream) or gelato. I made bacon (so happy to have bacon back!), sweet potato, onion, jalapeno and a whole small zucchini with 2 eggs and a small wedge of avocado. I added two small slices of cheddar cheese. We'll see how that sits before I take on the ice cream. As I was thinking and planning my dairy re-intro, I wondered if anyone had started a thread on the re-intro page - since we're all buddies now And I realized that a large group of folks are going on for a W60. I thought I'd start a Jump in June W60, but I'm not sure I'm up for that over the summer - maybe towards the end. I got on the scale this morning sort of as a confirmation [that this W30 hasn't been remarkable], and lo and behold, I lost a few pounds. Not sure where they dropped from, since my pants are no looser, but I interpret it to mean I was doing better than I felt. I have no desire to get back on the scale - couldn't really care about the pounds. It's more about how I feel and how my clothes fit.

    Spring into May Whole 30!

    My daughter and 2 yr old granddaughter came over so my daughter could mow my lawn (it hasn't been mowed since last fall and was almost 2' high!) and clean my gutters. I made them dinner It was Meatloaf Cupcakes with Sweet Potato Frosting {this recipe http://www.janssushibar.com/meatloaf-cupcakes-sweet-potato-frosting/ subbed ghee for butter, used homemade Mrs. Dash and homemade ketchup}, roasted carrots and beets, and steamed broccoli. She loved the meal, and I did too - first time for this recipe. My granddaughter only had some broccoli and the roasted veggies. I've been looking at the recipe for a year, thinking it would be too time intensive, but it wasn't, and the little cupcake meatloaves were delicious. I changed into my relaxing clothes, and noticed that my stomach still looks bloated and feels yucky. What is up?? I had a large sardine and arugula salad for lunch and I've had it many times before - never had a problem. This morning was the skillet sweet potato hash breakfast dish that I've had all week. I don't get it. Can't believe tomorrow is Day 30. In some ways it feels like Day 3 and some ways like day 300. I wish my body felt better.
