    No appetite

    I just kept eating the way we've been directed to and my appetite eventually returned. I didn't want to have to force myself but basically had to otherwise I would've passed out. Sorry I don't have any tricks to share with the group.

    Potato = Startover?

    I agree with AdriannaJean. The response came off as harsh and could've been worded in a way that offers support and guidance. Those are the reasons people participate in the forum.

    No appetite

    This is Day 11 for me and it had been going fairly well until almost two days ago. I had not appetite for dinner two nights ago but forced myself to eat the beef stew I made in the crock pot. Woke up yesterday and had no appetite whatsoever. I should've eaten something before working out with my personal trainer, but I just didn't have an appetite. Of course I became light headed while working out. I came home and ate a banana and then headed off to a luncheon and had a compliant meal. I felt nauseated after and then was not hungry at all again last night. But suddenly had a major craving for a glass of wine. I didn't give in and I didn't eat dinner either. Woke up this morning feeling light headed and again no appetite. I ate a banana and I'm feeling better but can't stomach anything else. Thankfully I have an appt with my physician this morning and she's an integrative medicine specialist. Any suggestions?

    Vegetable Sickness

    The veggie situation is improving. I made mashed cauliflower this weekend and it was delicious!

    Vegetable Sickness

    I've been eating sweet potatoes as well. I'm not really sure of any other starches I'm allowed. Stir fry is a great idea, only my recipe for the sauce contains brown sugar so I'll have to find a new one. I love the idea of vegetable soups. I think I might have to make a pot of that and then I can add different meats throughout the week. Thank you so much!

    Vegetable Sickness

    I've had sauteed spinach with olive oil and seasonings, steamed green beans, steamed broccoli, sauteed green and red peppers, sauteed escarole with olive oil and seasonings. I've also had salads with red leaf lettuce, tomatoes, onions, broccoli, steamed asparagus and walnuts. Today I had a mixture of roasted vegetables (zucchini, onion, green pepper and carrots) with olive oil and seasonings. So...tried many different types of veggies and have used seasonings that include both fresh and dry herbs. I've also used balsamic vinegar. I have a very busy schedule so there's little time to prepare. It will be this way for a while. Therefore it has to be pretty easy.
  13. I'm only on day 4 and I'm already sick of vegetables. Literally, I'm trying to eat some and they are making me feel sick. I know this is all in my head. I'm even eating veggies that I haven't eaten yet and that are roasted and in season. Is this normal?
