You won't believe how your relationship with food changes. No more obsessing about calories or any other stats. You will have more time to cook fabulous meals.

Percy the formula I use is 4 cups of water to 6 tsp of loose leaf tea (or 6 tea bags). I let it steep for ten minutes. Then I stir in 1 cup of sugar. After dissolving, I add it to 8 more cups of water. Boom..booch food.

When I realised corn was used to fatten animals, it lost its taste. It fattens us as well.

I am not sure where you read occasional fruit. The book simply states you shouldn't eat it alone and you shouldn't eat so much that it crowds other important items off your plate. Do you have a sugar dragon? I do, so I choose to rarely eat fruit. You don't have to eat any if you don't want to. Many consider one to two servings a day to be reasonable.

Favorite booch flavor. Fresh coconut water (yes..from a young thai coconut), mango and mint. Golden beets and thyme tomorrow.

Great post Robin. I take "the rules" very seriously and feel by following them fully, I get the most that I can from the program. I will start prefacing my comments with "what works or doesn't work for me is...." so that maybe it resonates with someone who also does best by being a stickler but does not discourage someone else who needs a little flexibility inside the guidelines to stick with it the entire 30 days. :0)

That's a good way to use Bullet proof in my opinion. What you don't want to do is use it as a meal which I have seen people want to do.

I went out to lunch with a friend today. We went to a Thai place we both like. I also know I can get compliant foods there with a few adjustments and they happily do it for me. Well, my friend ordered an eggplant dish that I knew I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. I am positive it had sugar and who knows what else..probably lots of soy oil and soy sauce. She is fully aware that I am doing Whole 30 and even has an idea of what it is. She is usually quite supportive, although, she calls it my "farm to table diet".
She: Oh good I love this eggplant. Want some?
Me: Oh, no thanks. I have some grilled eggplant coming.
She: Oh have some..it's diet food.
    UGH!!!
