You have magic pixie dust so no need for a heat strip.

I know Nadia..I cant stop. I am restraining myself right now. Just took Olivia for a quick walk and thought..would it be fun to show them the baseball fields, park and my car? Lawdy.
The skirt is the heat strip. It was in the 40s here. Now 50s with splashes of 80s. It's Oregon. :0)

Mine is a bit shabby chic. We could trade. :0) I think it was physbeth who called it Little House On The Prairie.
Tell Lily I said I like her Lily Kitty photo.

Also, do you have garden centers close by? They make heating pads to sprout seeds. I guess they work and are not expensive. They also sell heat pads for reptile cages.

That is so cute. Hannah from KombuchaKamp likes hers plain and flat. I saw something about Kombucha ice pops so I ordered cute star shaped ice pop mold from Amazon today.
I think watermelon mint is my favorite flavor so far. I also think I prefer the less fruity ones. Cucumber mint made me happy. I am looking forward to golden beet and thyme. Also lime and Thai basil. Think Mojito with basil intead of mint.

Oh dear. Don't feel picked on. I measure in cups as well (though metric is more appealing to the part of my brain that wants my computer structure to be perfect and all my spices exactly alphabetized). Jacques Pepin uses cups in his cook books. Maybe not at home. Whatever.

Oh no no no! That was so not the intention! I guess sometimes the forums feel a bit US-centric, so when a few of us metric-users come long we get a bit overexcited and cocky. Taking off my big britches right now

Reporting on my two babies. Solid white and getting thicker by the minute. The one with the .5% alcohol content is more robust looking. I should have written the date I started them. I think the heat strip helps.

Lol..so that is why the Hartwigs came up with the template. They were crossing borders. Leave it to you to lighten the moment.

One thought..we should probably be careful about health benefits. Just maybe speak to probiotics and stop there?

Totally agree. Work is so not what we are going for. Give me 2 days to compile a good list of links. You can always veto them.

Welcome to the world of booch-speak Praxis. CB stands for continuous brew. So, if I take 32oz out of my vessel, I add 32oz of sweet tea to replenish it. The advantage is that is low maintenance and the brew is ready to use again in 2 days. Mama is your first SCOBY. They continuously reproduce other SCOBYs which are called baby SCOBYs. You can store them in a hotel which is the SCOBY plus a couple cups of booch. You place it in a cool, dark cupboard for storage. It peacefully sleeps there. GT is a brand of Kombucha here in the states.
