    My 1st Whole30, starting April 18th!

    I'm starting that day too. I have fibromyalgia, IBS, gastritis, raynauds disease and a benign brain tumour. I am fed up of being in pain and feeling tired all the time. I live in the UK. Looking forward to starting. This is a spur of the moment decision as most things are in my life so I have done no prep at all but determined to do ithe this timemail. I have had 1 successful attempt and 2 failed this time will be different as I need to make a change.

    My first Whole30 starts MONDAY (1/11/2016)

    Hi my day 2 is coming to an end. I had spinach and broccoli soup for breakfast, sweet potato, bacon and apple hash with a side of roast veggies (asparagus,carrots,courgettes) and for dinner steak, more roast veggies and mushrooms with mayo. I also had an orange and pear. I feel tired now and a bit fuzzy headed but not too bad. The worst thing was cutting my sons chocolate cake for the 4 children I so wanted to lick my fingers but resisted. Here's to a successful 28 days more. I am still having moments of why am I putting myself through this but it will be worth it.

    Start Date 01/10

    I rescued breakfast I ate the leftover broccoli soup cold and it was good. Now waiting for my grocery delivery so I can prep some food. Have a headache but still ill so not sure if it's illness or whole 30 related. Rang in sick from work for next 2 days.

    So I am guilty of poor planning already. I have been ill since the 1st January and really ill for the past few days. Just done my shopping online which will be delivered between 11 and 12 but I have nothing to eat for breakfast. I will call and buy eggs when I take my daughter to school but then have to take my son to school and then walk the dog. I will manage I am sure but I like breakfast. On a positive note day 1 was Ok breakfast was chilli, spinach and eggs, lunch broccoli and spinach soup with ham and dinner salmon, salad leaves, almonds and homemade mayo. I also had an orange and a pear. I have had moments when I have wondered why I am doing this. I have an online bikini competition coach and she knows I have been struggling with food issues recently her answer to this is to make my food repetitive and boring. Meal 1 oats with whey powder and peanut butter, 1 meal of almonds and 3 meals of chicken, rice and veggies. I am supposed to eat this and lift weights 5 times a week and do insanity 6 times a week. I would die of boredom and don't intend to put myself through that. I will continue with whole 30 that has made my mind up.

    I started today this is my 3rd start date this month but I kept putting it off. I need to do it as I have fibromyalgia, IBS and gastritis. Finally started we can do this.

    Start Date 01/10

    Lindsay my doctor wouldn't be interested A, she doesn't believe in dietary intervention already had that conversation. B, I am in the UK on an NHS service resources are thin and it's difficult to get an appointment when your ill they don't have time for things like this. I'm on my own my husband isn't even supportive of whole 30 so I have this forum for support.

  11. I too was supposed to start on the 4th but got overwhelmed. I am starting tomorrow if you need support. I have fibromyalgia and IBS too but just doing normal whole 30 first to see how I go. This is my 2nd whole 30 it helped past time.

    Start Date 01/10

    Ok I'm starting the 10th too. This is the 3rd time this month I have said I am starting and for some reason I don't. I know I need too. I have many medical problems gastritis, fibromyalgia, IBS, benign brain tumour, raynauds. I will be 45 this year and for the first time in my life I an feeling my age and not liking it. I am currently on antibiotics for a chest infection and quite honestly feel awful but the food is making me feel worse. I am generally active and eat well but I am intolerant to dairy and gluten but I still eat them don't ask me why. I also suffer from binge eating disorder, yes I'm a screw up time to get healthy.

    Starting 1/4/16

    I deferred starting my whole 30 because I am ill and didn't think it was the best time but now I am regretting that decision. I feel rubbish anyway so I think whole 30 can only help. I received my organic veg box today and a hello fresh box so I have enough veg for the week may as well get going. I am on nights tonight and tomorrow and I have already packed a compliant meal so starting tomorrow.

    Before you start

    I only decided last night that I am doing whole 30 after weeks of being undecided about it. My diet has been terrible over the holidays and I am steady gaining weight which is making me miserable. This is typical of me I am very impulsive but also very obsessive (my kids have autism/ADHD maybe I have just figured out where they got it). I am the only one in my house doing a whole 30 my husband doesn't approve of it and will not be supportive but I have health issues that need addressing. I am unwell at the moment with a cold and TMJ symptoms so maybe not a great time maybe a good time as this will spur me on. It's my sons birthday tomorrow so we are going to a American style bar and grill so that won't be great and I will drink my last alcohol.

    Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue

    I have fibromyalgia and I find working out helps me a lot. I am urgently lifting weights 5 days a week and insanity 6 days a week. I also walk my dog twice a day. If I take a break from working out the pains still there but working out is good for my mental health so I do it. I also take a 2 hour dance class once a week and a limber class as well. My husband says I overdo it but I love it and it helps me.
