    I didn't do before measurements but I did get a before weight. I am down 18lbs! I'm a larger person so easier for me to lose larger amounts. Either way. I am super excited and have already planned my next Whole30.

    Day 30. We did it! Ecolimonsters you mentioned blood pressure. I had mine checked yesterday and was shocked at how much it had come down. I also sleep well and that was a huge issue in the past. I eat a lot more veggies. I rarely snack. I rarely crave anything and if I do it's because a smell has triggered the craving. Like smelling chocolate cake and Easter candy. I no longer need caffeine to start my day and and happy drinking water which was never the case before. I have more energy. I can't wait to step on that scale tomorrow!

    We are almost there! How did everyone survive Easter meals? I didn't eat anything I shouldn't have but my meals were not balanced the way they should have been.

    I didn't find a lot of options but I was able to make due. If you like fish that's easy to find as long as you dont need the rice to go with it. I ate the salad that always comes before the meal but I had it dry. None of the ginger dressing. I had a soup that was beef, broth, and veggies. You have to be careful there's no added sugar in the broth though. So all in all I found it quite challenging because I'm not a person who like raw fish without some rice go go with it.

    I'm still hanging in there. We are in the home stretch! I haven't noticed much difference in how I feel since about day 15 or so. I rarely have cravings but when I do it is for something cheesy! Dairy will be my first reintroduction. I'm looking forward to it.

    Kerry - I lost track of what day we are on over the weekend. I'm hoping that's a sign of this way of eating is becoming more normal and less of a drastic change from the way things had been. Today I will have my 3rd eating out experience. It's a coworkers birthday lunch and we are going to a sushi place. Wish me luck! I also went out one lunch last week. My lesson learned was to make sure my meal is balanced. I was so focused on not eating anything I shouldn't that when I got my plate of nothing but eggs and bacon I realized all I had was fat and protein, and no carbs.

    I had serious energy issues during the first week but since then I have felt an increase in energy. It seems like I constantly go, go, go, go until all of a sudden I realize hey, it's late, I'm tired, and it's time to go to bed. This was not normal before. I use to go home from work and just want to sit and relax. It's a nice change.
  8. For me it was when my podiatrist said I needed to lose 25 lbs before I could continue walking for exercise. I knew I needed a quick jump start on weight loss so I went looking for diets. I eventually came across this plan and it looked like it would help me feel better in general and wasn't just a crash diet. It also looked like I would be eating some yummy food which I am. I figured I can do anything for 30 days. 30 days isn't that long. I'm on day 18 and have seen changes in my health and have lost the craving for many of the bad foods I use to eat.

    I've been having a snacking issue today. Almost everyday the last week or so I have had some pistachios.

    Tayleo - I'm also sorry you have to restart. That's a total bummer. I have to admit I chuckled at the soy sauce being just salt and liquid. Kerry - It does feel great. My workplace has had quite a few temptations also. There is temptation everywhere I look some days. Right now I'm so hungry I feel like I could eat nasty fish and steamed broccoli. My breakfast was on the light side this morning so I think I'm paying for it now. I can't wait to get home and make dinner!

    I survived a weekend full of temptations. Made Waffles for my daughter on Saturday and baked cookies for her and my husband on Sunday. So proud of myself for not giving in to temptation! Day 15...half way there. Yay!

    Day 11...We are over a third of the way there. Yay! The first week was really challenging but this week things are going better. I am not so tired, although I haven't discovered Tiger Blood yet. My cloths are fitting looser, and I feel better in general. I'm going to have to spend some time finding some new recipe's for next week. I've went through all of the ones I found prior to starting and there's only one, Chocolate Chilly, that I am ready to eat again so soon. Others were good, but not good enough that I want them again so soon. Keep up the great work! We can do this.

    That's not normal for me. I have been rather annoyed at having to get up to use the restroom at least three times a night though.
