    Help! tomato sauce

Victoria's brand (available at Costco) is DELICIOUS! We have also used Nello's Sauce, but I think that may be local to where I live.

    Compliant Packaged Hash Browns?

WOW! @Elenianne to the rescue! Thanks SO much!
  3. Anyone aware of a compliant pre-packaged frozen shredded hash brown? I have a great omelette recipe that I used pre-Whole 30 with hash browns and smoked salmon, but everything I find has dextrose in it (Ore-Ida, Giant Eagle, etc.). I would super prefer not to break out the knuckle-grater!

    "Aqueous Natural Smoke"

In other words, there may not be "aqueous natural smoke" at all and he can eat them? (He finally caved in and started the Whole30 today!)

    "Aqueous Natural Smoke"

Hubby had bought a box of Wild Planet's wild caught sardines from Costco a few weeks ago instead of his normal anchovies (no question on compliance with those: anchovies, olive oil, salt). The final ingredient in the sardines is "aqueous natural smoke." Searched the forums and couldn't find anything on this ingredient being compliant or not. Thoughts? He hasn't started his Whole30 yet and I won't eat these anyway (tiny whole fishies are not my thing), but he's wondering if he should eat them before he starts his month. Thanks!

    Guacamole - individual, prepacked serviings

I am LIVING on Wholly Guacamole. Okay, not exactly true. One serving a day, I promise. Today with baby carrots. Yesterday as a sub for mayo in my tuna salad! Trader Joe's also has a compliant guac called "Avocado's Special Number" that's sold as "party trays" (about 3 servings) that I use at home, but like the fruit itself, goes brown after a day. I have to transfer it to a tupperware.
  7. What store brands do you prefer? I've tried two now. A compliant "ethnic" version whose name I can't remember, but it is SO thick and nearly clumpy, and now Kroger's store brand Premium Coconut Milk (coconut cream, water, xanthan gum), which was light-years better, at least in my coffee. Curious to see what others prefer. The Kroger brand also didn't make me feel like I wanted sweetener in my coffee (don't worry, I haven't used any!), but I also used it today at home on Day 8 v the other one which I have been drinking at work in my coffee since Day 3.

Homemade ovenbaked fries from white potatoes

My dad slices the potatoes super thin, coats them in Emeril's Essence, and grills them! They practically taste fried, but they're so yummy. I haven't checked the spice for Whole30 compatibility, but I can't imagine it's off-limits.

Zucchini Soup - Hot or Cold

I've made this Grant Achatz zucchini soup three times, and had to visit it one more time to verify it's Whole30/Paleo appropriate... and it is! Just replace the butter with clarified butter or ghee. I'm so excited to use the last of my farmers' market zucchini on this recipe one last time. I love it hot, even in the summer, but every once in a while, cold hits the spot. I keep the batch in the fridge and portion it out so I can decide whether I want it hot or cold. I hope you enjoy it! http://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/silky-zucchini-soup
