    Extreme dairy reaction

I reintroduced dairy 4 days ago, with 3 small fresh mozzarella balls. My belly hasn't been the same since! I'm hoping it feels better soon, but it is enough to keep me from trying any more dairy any time soon. It also has stalled me from reintroducing any other foods, with the exception of added sugar in prepared items.

    Roll call: November Whole30s!

I haven't updated in a bit. But I did it! 30 Whole Days! Feeling great. Lost about 8 pounds to boot. I reintroduced a little dairy and much to my disappointment, experienced a great deal of gastric distress. First, it was a little milk in coffee, that left me gurgling. The next day, it was three small mozzarella balls, that left me doubled over in pain by the end of the day. I am going to get back on plan and wait a few days before introducing any other foods. I am not ready for gluten, but contemplating brown rice or quinoa next. I have to read mrs on the reintroduction protocol. Hope everyone else is doing well also! Thanks for all the support!

    Roll call: November Whole30s!

Day 19! This is the longest I have ever succeeded on a W30! I feel great and I still haven't stepped on the scale. Lots of NonScale victories though! I started the W30 borderline obese, as in my home scale had me at the highest BMI in overweight and my doctors scale had me at the lowest BMI of obese. Clearly I have a lot of weight to lose! Over the past few days, I have noticed my back fat rolls arent touching each other any more, my belly button isn't as deep and my double chin is just a half double chin. I also bumped into a guy friend who said my skin is radiant. Yay for compliments. I also have more energy and less stress, even though my job is at its peak of stressful ness. Loving the lifestyle, need to plan for Thanksgiving still.

    Roll call: November Whole30s!

Day 12, feeling like I really turned a corner mentally and physically. Plus today I am wearing jeans that are normally uncomfortably tight and are just snug instead. Happy!

    Roll call: November Whole30s!

Day 9 is coming to a close and it has been a rough one, but I stayed the course. I have a headache and my child is annoying. And I am so sick of doing dishes! I don't mind cooking, it's the cleaning I can't stand. I have cooked almost every meal, it's the exception of two salads and some chicken soup. Normally, we get take out 1-2 nights and I grab lunch on the go almost every day. Guess we will be saving money! I'm hoping tiger blood is around the corner! For a boost, I rewatched the video from the day 1 email.

    WHOLE 100 - DONE!

I was looking for inspiration today and this did it! Thank you! I think the best part is all the benefits you gained while losing what some would say is "just 10 pounds". I noticed it has been awhile since your post. How are you doing now? Did you stick with it?

    Roll call: November Whole30s!

Starting Day 6, so far, doing great. My insides feel better and slimmer, but I still have headaches. Today, I will focus on drinking more water as I'm sure that's part f the problem. Yesterday, was mentally tough. I may have chewed someone's head off, lol, but my food choices have been stellar. I'm having a harder time with the "goal" sheet, cause I "gave up all foods that make life worth living" and needed some comforts of my old routine. I also have been tempted to step on the scale, but that's not what this is really about, so I will focus on a NonScale Victory: my blood sugar has been awesome even while eating fruit (in part due to new medication, but the healthy eating definitely helps and the meds allow me to eat fruit). Also, my BFF is holding on to my favorite prepregnancy jeans (that I wore 8 years and 50 pounds ago) and that is some serious motivation! So, wow, day 6! That's almost a full week! And like 1/5 the of the way through a W30!!!!

    Roll call: November Whole30s!

Day 4 is here and I really just want to sleep today! Hopefully, drinking lots of water will help. I too have been using Peppermint oil for the headaches. I am really missing chewing gum today, but I guess by this time next week, I will have broken the gum habit! How is everyone else doing? PS: I took my hideous before pictures yesterday. That's motivation, I tell ya.

Any T2 out there doing Whole30???

I'm type 2 and just starting a Nov. W30. I tried before and failed, but am determined this time. I am on a few different meds. For those who posted earlier, how did it go?

    Roll call: November Whole30s!

Hi, I'm Rebecca, from NJ. I am committing to a whole 30 for health reasons. I have diabetes, high cholesterol and am over weight. I also have a serious sugar addiction. I want to be healthy and have a healthy relationship with food. I have previously attempted a W30 before, but have not gotten past 2 weeks. This time will be different! The biggest challenges I foresee are meal planning, prepping and cleaning, as well as sugar cravings and dairy. And dealing with a 7 year old who will not eat most foods. Yesterday, I wrote my goals for the month, per the worksheet in the email. To get ahead of the curve, I am cooking a ton today, roasting veggies, chicken in the crock pot, hard boiling eggs, making mayo and ketchup, clarifying butter and making fresh coconut milk. Here's to making today a success!

    Roll call: November Whole30s!

It's Day 1: Who's with me? Let's get to know each other a little with a brief introduction. Who are you? Where are you from? Why are you embarking on this mission? What challenges do you anticipate? What are you doing today to make this a success? Looking forward to getting to know everyone and getting healthy together!

Two Weeks in, Rashes are MUCH WORSE!

Thanks for the advice, I finally heard back from my PCP who is sending me to a dermatologist. I hope I can get seen today! This morning I have another new patch on my abdomen :/ I have NEVER had it there before! I was recently tested for all allergens and it showed i am alleric to nothing, but that doesn't mean I'm not sensitive or irritated. How long is this detox issue supposed to take?? And without eggs, what will I eat for BFast?
