    Starting December 1st

    Dec 1st...it's go time! Made it till about day 10 last month and then the wheels came off. I did drop 10 pounds in 10 days and felt pretty damn good.

    Is anyone using any apps or wearables for tracking exercise etc.....? I've been using RunKeeper for years as well as Digifit.com. I use MyFitnessPal, but for these 30 days I'm not tracking any food. I also love my FitBit for tracking steps, trying to hit 10,000 every day.

    In Jackson MS for the evening, found a grocery store and stocked up on carrots, water and found the remnants of a backed chicken in the deli area, poor bird apparently he had four legs. Chicken for dinner and chicken for breakfast....ugh..... hopefully better choices in the next town. Everybody keep hanging tough!

    Interesting, I bought some organic eggs yesterday and noticed when cracking them this morning that the shells were much tougher/thicker than the store brand eggs and believe it or not they really taste better. Wow not even 9:00 am and I've already learned something today........

    Pretty good weekend considering we had a birthday dinner, but we ended up cooking steaks instead of going out. Had a blistering workout Saturday and went for a nice 3 mile walk today......tonight we dine on meatloaf.

    Working from home today which allowed for a morning/walk run and then a crossfit WOD this evening. Still hanging in there and feel skinnier, if that makes sense. Made turkey meatballs for dinner and I can honestly say they'd taste better with sauce & pasta. Friday Saturday & Sunday will be tough.

    No problem, I froze it and took it on the road with me this week. Ingredients 1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts 1 medium yellow onion, diced 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced 1 jalapeno, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 15-oz. can diced tomatoes ( I just chopped up a couple of tomatoes) 2 cups chicken stock (Just boiled a chicken, nothing fancy) 1 tbsp chili powder 1 tbsp cumin 1 tsp dried oregano (Used fresh) 1/2 tsp paprika Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped 1 avocado, pitted and sliced Instructions Add the chicken to the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the onion, bell pepper, jalapeno, and garlic on top of the chicken. Pour the diced tomatoes over the top. Sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours. Use a fork to shred the chicken before serving. Garnish with cilantro and avocado. http://paleogrubs.com/slow-cooker-chicken-enchilada-soup-recipe

    Day 4 in the books. Didn't get any exercise in today because it was an early meeting day and then and afternoon travel day, who knows I might go for an evening walk. I've learned a few things so far - I might actually get to like avocados, I had it in my soup this week and on my naked hamburger patty, Second green tea with a squeeze of lemon may become the drink of choice. Feeling pretty good, no major urge to inflict death on anyone just yet. Tempted to step on the scale!

    Second night on the road this week, feeling pretty decent walked for a couple of miles this morning and then did another mile this evening along with jumping rope. Slept pretty good last night and no headache today Question - Found precooked roasted chicken patties at Trader Joes today - 0 sugar and 0 carbs, the ingredients were pretty simple chicken salt, pepper, dehydrated garlic and canola oil - is this considered a Whole Food?

    Started the day with a Broccoli Egg Bake and finished the day with Slow Cooker Chicken Enchilada Soup. Walked a couple of miles this morning and then worked out on the hotels gym this evening . Slight headache as the day wore on but not a pounding headache.

    Lots of soda and those crystal light packages that you drop into water. I'll have to try the green tea.
