    Whole30 for Lent: starting February 18th.

    Count me in! I am going to start my second wole30 for lent after a failed attempt in January. I completed my first whole 30 in November thanks to the fantastic group support ... January I thought of going solo and I lasted 10 days ... Here I am ready to go.

    Hello team November glad we are still sharing our experience on here, it helps a lot. I lost 6 pounds during the whole30, didnt measure myself before so no idea if I lost inches, clothes feel the same ... The great discovery is that I can do without chocolate and cookies, I had some yesterday and they didn't taste as yummy as I remembered! Too sweet ... Too fake! If anyone had said I would feel this way a month ago I would have suggested they were out of their mind! Bread is another story though ... I will have to stay away from it a bit longer ... As it has an emotional hold on me ... I ate some the other day and afterwards I realised that it wasn't because I liked it it was because of what's going on emotionally in my life at the moment ... It didn't feel good ... I didn't feel good about eating it ... So I decided to do yoga .... And continue to eat the new way unless it is a special occasion. I signed up to do the 30 day yoga challenge, since I was able to finish the whole 30 I can do this challenge as well ... It's free on doyoga.com. All the best to everybody on here

    Congratulations to all of us, and if you are still on this journey for a few days longer, best wishes! Day 30 is over for me! I will continue for a few more days ... There isn't any food I really miss at the moment ... So we ll see! Thank you all, you have been great companions.

    Stop, breathe, focus on how you will feel after diving into the ice cream bowl .... Throwing away the distance covered so far .... Deep inside you know after the ice cream you won't feel better it will not magically sweep the exasperation away! This is what I say to myself every time I am ready to throw the towel and get off the program.... Hope it helps You have achieved so much on your own, dive in the feelings of greatness this should bring ... Not ice cream it's not worth it.

    Day 18 today for me and I am looking for any positive change in the way I feel, headaches have not left me for good yet, there are days when I still get them. Tiger blood should be around the corner, at the moment it seems to be in a far far away land. I miss porridge in the morning ...the only food I really miss. On the positive side I have stuck to this program for 18 days and I am still on it despite not feeling any better/ different than I felt before I began. Let's see what happens in the next 12 days. Fabulous job everybody, keep it going!

    Saturday morning, the week end ! This is the crunch point for me, staying on the plan at the week end will be a turning point. I have not managed it for a while now ... I am going to take it an hour at the time. The headache is really gone away. Not much other aches and pains either, so that's good. I wish a fabulous week end to all of us!

    Joybedford - hang on in there! You are doing great, it will get better according to the experience of those who tried this before, this is what I keep telling myself when even bones I didn't know I had start to ache. The headache is gone, mine too, let's rejoice for small achievements. I can't even think of working out at the moment, but it's early days and I completed another day, hurray!

    Day four is nearly over, I am still on the whole30 program, yay! Despite the headache/migraine/allthebonesinmyheadache ... I guess is the bad phase before the good phase ... I hope it is Well done everybody !

    Hurray, day two done and dusted, feel very pleased. I have a headache and it feels like it's going to be with me for a while ... Never mind I am committed to stick to this plan. Doing lots of cooking yesterday helped with today's return from work hunger pangs, that's when I am more likely to cave in.www.deliciouslyella.com has a few recipes I want to try, you need to sieve amongst all of them as some use grains.

    Hi, I am Willow, I live in the UK. I attempted this twice already and didn't last past week one, "things" got in the way mainly because I didn't plan carefully. This time will be different I am committed to go the whole 30. I am doing this because I am tired of being tired all the time, I suffer from severe migraines and this might help. I don't like cooking and cleaning after cooking this will be my main problem. I love bread, cereal, crackers, they are easy to get hold of require no preparation and they fill you up, I think I might be addicted to granola. So let's begin this journey...
