    Roll call: November Whole30s!

Laurenjessany, I also am waiting for the tiger blood/awesome sleep to happen, while there has been improvements, I was hoping for more. Magnesium definitely helps. Day 25! While the first two weeks on Whole30 I was dreaming about what I would have on Day 31 (HUGE glass of wine with brie!) those cravings are gone! People at my work have noticed I have lost weight and one person said my skin was glowing ! I am already planning on doing another Whole30 in the early spring (with my sister), and eating paleo-style until then.

I too am concerned about the weeks following up to Christmas, all the social events are centered around food. I suppose they always have been, but now I am much more aware of whats going into my body, I am quite nervous! Prepping is becoming easier, I am always making double batches of everything! The fridge is always full of good choices. My day 30 is Dec 2 but I think I will go a few more days to round up to the following weekend.

Day 19..... Feeling really good, like, happy. Solid workouts, eating regularly, feeling more calm at work. Ladybugger14, you made me lol with your "back fat, double chin" post - I too carry a lot of my weight in the middle, and its nice to see the rolls subside a bit! I honestly say I am still tempted to weigh myself at the gym ( the scale is right smack dab in the room ) but I resist. It bothers me that I am so obsessed with those stupid numbers. I made a cauliflower/parsnip puree the other day, as a side instead of mashed potatoes - husband LOVED it, and said he would have those any day before potatoes again. And that's coming from the original meat+potatoes guy!

joybedford, you are not alone! I am also not feeling any tiger blood running through my veins either, and this is Day 16 for me. I think I may be coming down with a bug of some sort, I'm just not feeling great. That being said, its hard to do this program WITH support, and I cant imagine how difficult it would be without it. Don't disappoint yourself, you have come a far way. I have never stayed the course so long before, so its a pretty big accomplishment for me! Sending positive thoughts

Hello! I made the mayo with the light tasting olive oil, I liked it, it hardly has a taste at all! Day 14 is going really well...feeling very satisfied after I eat, and not hungry AT ALL at nighttime, and that's a first. I think I should start thinking about portions, cutting a tad back all around. Again, the prepping/cooking was most of my Sunday, but I hope to not run out of meals for a few days at least. Took a rest day, went for a nice walk in the park despite the cold temps.

I agree with you jmachin, weekdays are pretty much under control when you have structured days, not so much on the weekends. And you don't realise how much of your social life revolves around food! (you can't even watch tv without every commercial break being about food! Ahh!) This is Day 13 for me, and I am feeling really good about myself and my choices. People at my work have asked my if I have lost weight, nice to hear. I still want to jump on the scale though! Spent last night with a like-minded buddy making egg muffins (so yummy, and portable!!), bacon-wrapped chicken thighs, roasted red pepper soup, and enough veg to keep me going for a few more days. Tomorrow will be my first attempt at bone broth!

Thanks jgreene, I love the Bengal Spice tea and putting coconut milk in it sounds so good! I agree about the kitchen work, ladybugger14, my hands are still a little pruny from doing the umpteenth load of pots/pans/dishes from all the preparing. This is day 7 for me, and I feel pretty great, had a lot of energy for my workout today, but mostly, made it through a Sat night out with the gratuitous glass of wine in my hand (yea me!). Right now I am taking a magnesium supplement every night, but I will be buying Natural Calm later this week to give it a go. Another plus is that even though my husband is not participating in whole30, he is really warming up to the idea, as the food is awesome !!

Anyone else worried about the weekend? Its pretty easy during the week, when you have very structured days. This is my first weekend on Whole30 and I am visiting my in-laws tomorrow. I will bring my own food, as my mom-in-law (whom I love!) just doesn't get it. Day 5 is going well, but the thought of starting over again is depressing. So, when do you start sleeping normally again? Just wondering! I didn't realise what a grazer I have turned in to! Now 3 meals a day feels great, and I don't mindlessly eat at my computer station any more, big win.

    Roll call: November Whole30s!

Hi, my name is Katherine from Ontario Canada and this is Day 3 of my very first attempt at a whole30. I didn't even know I was a grazer until I actually started watching what I ate in a day, never used to eat like that, the stress at work is mostly the issue there. I actually have taken the time to savour my lunch, instead of mindlessly eating at my workstation. Big positive right there! I am really missing my sleep, cant seem to stay in bed more than 5 hours, hopefully this will work itself out?? For me, its going to be the wine dragon , its the only thing I have missed so far.
