  1. Hey y'all This is my second whole 30. The first time I did the program it was great. I was doing it to change my eating habits more than trying to lose weight. I would like to know what some of the guys are eating pre and post workout during their whole 30 program. Also, I seem to be losing too much weight. How do I maintain/ gain muscle mass while following the whole 30 and lifting in the gym? It seems like if I do not eat a lot of carbs then I shed so much weight, more than I would like to. My whole reason for this program is to live a healthy and wholesome lifestyle. Thanks, Michael.

    I finally found what looks to be a compliant breakfast sausage, but it has one ingredient that I am unsure about. The brand is AppleGate and it has organic apple juice concentrate. Does anybody know if this ingredient is acceptable? Thank you.

    I have yet to find a compliant bacon product in any grocery or store. Your best bet is probably the farmers market. I did find a compliant prosciutto product at Trader Joe's that tastes just like bacon.
  5. Apple Cider & Almond Butter

    I ran into the same problem when I was looking for apple cider for the chicken hash recipe. You have to search for compliant apple ciders or make your own. Also, almond butter is really easy to make. Buy some raw almonds and roast them in the oven for about 6 minutes, take them out and turn them, and then roast them for another 6 minutes. let the almonds cool and then put them in a food processor and blend on high until the contents become smooth. You might have to intermittently stop the processor and scrape the sides of the bowl because the contents tend to clump up. I would say that it takes a total of 5-10 minutes blending in the processor.

    Hey Y'all, I am looking for a good multivitamin to take while on my whole 30 program. I used to take One A Day Men's before I started the program, but l stopped taking them when I started because all of the confusing ingredients they have. Does anybody know if this multivitamin is acceptable for the program, and if not, any recommendations for a men's multivitamin while on the W30 program? Thank you.

    Hey Y'all, I am on my ninth day of the whole 30 program. Today I made some chicken tortillas that were made partly with tapioca flour. Is tapioca something that is acceptable in this program? Also, is the idea of tortillas (made with tapioca flour) more of a psychological "no" or a nutritional "no"? In other words, is this something that I will need to start the program over? Any feedback would be helpful. Thank you.
