  1. Day 29...Almost there!

This is my 3rd Whole30, but I actually feel the best about this one. As many have read, it's harder to complete a subsequent Whole30 than it is to complete the first. Unfortunately, I had let myself slide back into old habits after about a year or so of being about 80/20 compliant, so for this round, I had to really jump back on the horse. The biggest effect I've noticed this time is my cleaner, smaller gut. It feels SO good to feel good inside. Although I'm not sure how much weight I've lost, yet, I'm sure I've lost a few pounds. More importantly, I just plain feel better physically, and I sleep a ton better. I'm a teacher who likes my glass or two of wine every night, so cutting that out was REALLY tough, but I've done it! I'd be lying if I said I can't wait to have a glass, but I also don't want to go back to the nightly glass or two. I can now see how sluggish and blah it made me feel AND how much that added to my fluffy middle. I'm not usually one to post in a forum, but by doing this, I'm hopeful it will be a reminder of where I was, where I am now and where I will be in the future. I feel great and want to keep it that way!
  2. Starting Janurary 2ed!!!

A great day 1! Started back at Crossfit for the first time in months, ate well, and am feeling good. I need to store this confident feeling for later when the days are not as easy. One day at a time.
  3. CALLING ALL JANUARY 1ST WHOLE30ERS!

Count me in! I'm starting on the 2nd. It will be my second one, and I'm excited to get back to normal after having binged right on through the holidays! My first was last May, and I stuck to it about 80% of the time until December. I'm ready for round two!!
  4. Starting Janurary 2ed!!!

I've been binging like nobody's business, so my body can't wait to get started! We can all do this! It will be a challenge but completely possible. My favorite line out of the book is something like, "Fighting cancer is hard. Following Whole30 is NOT hard." When I was successful the first time, that idea really kept me going.
  5. Starting Janurary 2ed!!!

I'm starting my 2nd Whole30 on the 2nd, as well. I lost 12lbs total from the time I started back in May and then continued at about 80% until December. I've gained back around 5 holiday pounds, so it's time to get back on the wagon. I'm excited but know it will be hard, so I can really use the support!
  6. Starting May 20!- Today :)

Same start date. So far so good but feeling jittery all day today. Is this normal or common?
