I'm also starting tomorrow! Following this thread.
  3. I can absolutely sympathize because I also have Fibromyalgia and I also have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I also have an 18 month old daughter. Luckily my husband help me and I grocery shop online with Instacart which really helps with energy!! Someone else does my shopping for me and delivers it....but I'm definitely worried about the prep sapping my energy. Trying to keep it simple. Starting my Whole30 4/16!

    Trying this again...

Hi all! I'm a 38 year old mom to a 18 month old little girl and I need to get healthy. My husband and I want to eat healthy and change our lives. I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and was just diagnosed with premature ovarian failure which is an autoimmune disorder. I am overweight and honestly.... I feel miserable most days. I love my child and my husband so much but I have no energy and can't move easily so every day is hard. My doctor told me I NEED to do a Whole 30 to do a restart of my system and I'm totally ready....about 3 years ago I tried and lasted about 20 days. So, I'm back again and I need ideas before I really start of how to do this as easily as possible with a toddler and with low energy....help. I want to be successful and I've started making my grocery list. But, give me SIMPLE meal ideas. I think simple is key for me. Thank you!! I'm excited to feel better.

Hello all, Sadly, I gave in to a glass of wine on our anniversary trip. So, I will be starting over starting tomorrow. I'm OK with it because I did very well up until the glass of wine. Happy journey to all of you! You've been great support. Sad to have to start over and miss checking on with you but it is what it is!

    What's for dinner?-- June Edition

Hi all! Love this forum! I wanted to share the recipe I'm going to attempt to make tonight (was going to make it last night but life got in the way)...we shall see how it goes It is from a company called Sun Basket. They deliver fresh, organic recipes and their ingredients to your door and all you do is prep and cook. We get three dinners a week for two of us and it is $60. Worth it in my opinion because it is delicious!! They are located in the Bay Area of California so they don't ship to everywhere at this point. Here is tonight's recipe: Steak and Chimichurri with swiss chard http://www.sunbasket.com/recipe/131 I hope I'm ok sharing that on here!! Not trying to plug them...but they do rock!! Thank MeGa Gardener for encouraging me to post here!

Hi all, Hope you all are doing well!! I am actually feeling pretty good today...slightly tired but not bad. My cravings for junk are wayyyyyyyy less than they were before I started this process. I am not gonna lie and say when I saw the BEAUTIFUL cupcakes my friend brought to work today that I wasn't wishing a tiny bit that I could have one (they are amazing), but overall, I'm able to say no and walk away I wanted to share the recipe I'm going to attempt to make tonight...we shall see how it goes It is from a company called SunBasket. Ok all....I need help!! It is our 5 year wedding anniversary on Friday and we are going out of town. We are going to a nice resort in the mountains...they have a restaurant and I'm NERVOUS!! I don't want to mess up. How do I tell them to prepare my food without using butter?? I am totally fine getting either fish or chicken or a big steak with a bunch of steamed veggies and oil and vinegar. But don't they use butter?? I'm a bit worried....and sad that I can't have wine with my hubby to celebrate but...it is what it is. Any suggestions??

Hello everyone!! Happy Friday! So....today is my day 4 because of my mess up (I ate cheese on accident on day 1) but happy day 5 to all of you. Today I am TIRED. I slept THROUGH my alarm. I never do that. As a result, I'm craving crap. AND today is NATIONAL DOUGHNUT DAY so they are EVERYWHERE at work I have not caved...I will NOT cave. They just make me feel sick after anyways...but everyone is eating them in front of me and smiling gleefully. Oh well, I will continue to eat my hearts of palm and snap peas as a small snack. I know we are not supposed to snack but I'd rather eat these healthy things then cave and eat a doughnut. I feel a tiny bit like Kill All the Things today...but I gotta stay positive. Hope everyone has a good day!
