    I am continuing on from the July 1st W30, hope you don't mind if I follow this post. I'm trying to treat it like it's my first so I don't get cocky thinking I know everything and start making my own rules. I'm having the I wanna eat everything again and am having to talk myself down. Maybe cause I am not doing fruit or potatoes this time. I ordered the well fed 2, I have w#) and well fed 1 but am looking for more ideas and I like to have the recipes in my hand for menu planning. Well W30 on!

    Starting July 1st

    Did anyone else read the blog post Whole30 linked on Facebook today? It was part 2 on Taming Your Sugar Dragon. the section on Trigger Two: Emotional Connections is me to a tee! I've always scoffed at the "emotional eating" idea that I was stuffing my feelings, or trying to fill a hole in my psyche or whatever, but THIS kind of emotional attachment to food I can fully understand. And it will be something I'm really going to have to pay attention to going forward. This is pretty much how I went from my last Whole 30 accomplishment back to eating too much of the wrong foods in the space of a month - saying What the Hell and going all in. Yup​ great read, don't know how I missed it before, thanks

    Starting July 1st

    I would like to thank everyone involved with this program and this site! I have NEVER been able to finish a 30 day anything before, and I will be continuing on. The information in the books! the website, the forum, the printouts, the moderators, the posters, THANK YOU ALL!! After struggling for 13 years with Fibromyalgia and trying everything I could find to just to have even one more day without pain and crushing fatigue I actually see a glimmer of hope. I have gotten a taste of tiger's blood (2 days) and can remember what life was like before this and want it more then ever. I have a long way to go to get even close to a normal life again but for the first time I can see it. So THANK U!

    Starting July 1st

    Well made the halfway point, I felt great yesterday till evening. I woke up a 4am the night befor and couldn't get back to sleep so probly just tired. Waiting for the "normal" sleep gods to bless me. Have been struggeling with appitite, not wanting to eat at all or am starving. I'm sticking to the food template and eating 3 meals a day, big when I'm hungry and forcing myself when I'm not. I am dragging this morn and fighting with myself to eat but haven't won yet. I am looking for the dragon's blood, that is a major incentive for me to keep going and be strict. I went to a Starbucks yesterday and thought I ordered a Iced unsweetened Chai tea, when I got it, it was a iced chai latte!! I wanted to drink it so bad! They must have thought I was crazy but I turned around a practically ran away leaving the tea on the counter. I knew there was no way I could stand there and order again without caving and getting something sweet and creamy so I ran away! It was a great and terrible experience, I now know I am starting to run on W30 autopilot (the great) and I need to stay away from Starbucks (maybe not terrible but sad). I am enjoying reading all the posts and information, btw, the daily 30 e-mails are awesome! I was having some buyers remorse after I purchased them BUT they are TOTALLY worth it. It's like reading the whole book everyday to keep on track and always a smile or giggle at the end. Have a great day everyone and WHOLE30 on!!

    Starting July 1st

    Thanks for the advice, ill try that. Grapefruit juice was on the fruit salad, but noted, I will back off the morning fruit. Veggies for m1, I can't say any veggies but the standard omelet fair are at all appealing in the morning, it's hard enough to get myself to eat in the morn as it is much less the thought of eating broccoli or the likes and I am a huge fan of all veggies normally.

    Starting July 1st

    OK food, yesterday M1: skillet w/ sausage(recipe from the W30 cookbook), 1 white potato, half a sweet potato, onion, peppers, 2 eggs on top, fried w/ghee one grapefruit. M2 salmon cakes (in the book) on a bed of greens w/ balsamic vinaigrette (book) one tomato sliced w/olive oil and basil. M3 lettuce wrap( huge), with roast beef ( homemade) onion, mayo (book) tomato, olives, pickle. today M1 left over salmon cake topped w/ 2 fried eggs, fruit salad containing 1 1/2 kiwi, 1/2 banana, half a grapefruit juice. I make sure to include a potato or sweet potato everyday. and I've been only drinking infused water I make myself or an occasional cup of coffee w/coconut milk. EVERYTHING we eat is either a recipe from the book followed to the letter or what we make ourselves compliant to the program. Timing: 6-7am, noon, 6-8pm. I eat till I'm full, I don't wanna eat more just cause it's there cause one of the issues I'm trying to fix is overeating. U may have something with the mood regulator thing and the numbing, any advice on that?

    Starting July 1st

    I am experiencing the "kill everything" but I figured it was just crabby, it's soooo not! It is pure rage! I feel like the Hulk. everytime I think I have a grip something tiny sets me off again. I need some pointers on how to deal with this before my dogs or husband end up in a hole in the backyard. And why???

    Starting July 1st

    We r hiding out for the 4th as well. I'm not feeling well and my Hubby is afraid he will crack under the cookout pressure. I also crave really crappy food when the fibro hits sooooo better to stay away. Happy 4th to all!
