    Starting February 29th

I just started my second Whole30 yesterday as well. I did my first in August with great success and have stayed mostly Paleo but have been very lax lately with chips and popcorn the past few weeks. I need a reset so this is it! I couldn't figure out why I slept so well last night and then I recalled I was doing the Whole30! No crap messing with my slumber!

Day 30! We made it and it was not that difficult. I do not have any desires to run out and eat anything special - I want to continue this way of eating forever. I ran my first 10K Sunday (day 28) and finished in 1:06 which surpassed my goal. I feel great and recovery after intense workouts is so minimal - I love not feeling sore and stiff. I also lost 8 lbs. and lost my muffin top. I have been listening to Paleo podcasts and reading paleo stuff. I kick myself for not investigating this lifestyle sooner! Congrats everyone and Great job!!!

I do like almond butter a lot but for some reason peanut butter takess first place! Day 26 and I have a little of that attitiude well, 26 days is enough but I know it is not and there is no reason to "end" this. Just excited to get to day 30 I guess!

Day 24 - wow! Hope everyone is hanging in there. I am scared of the reintroduction phase too. I don't think I will ever eat gluten voluntarily again and maybe not even grains. I was already dairy free, soy free and sugar free before the Whole30 so I know gluten and/or grain were the cause of my bloat and never feeling quite 100%. I do want to try beans because I love garbanzo beans but am not in any hurry. Now peanut butter is another story...I look at it everyday in the fridge and long for it.

Her cracklin' chicken is to die for too! I cannot believe we are on day 21. This ha been the best choice nutrition wise I have ever made. I have decided to not even think about an end at this point and just keep going. I do still miss peanut butter but that is about all I miss. I did no think I could live without beans but have not missed them once. Hope everyone is going strong!

I haven't checked in in a few days but still going strong here. My energy is awesome and I feel incredible. I do notice I have to eat by a certain time or I get hangry but other than that I am loving this lifestyle. I love sleeping so soundly and dreaming nice dreams. It seems like forever since that has happened. My workouts have been incredible and so have my runs! I have my first 10K on day 28 so I am excited to see how I do. The family ate out Friday and went to Buffalo wild wings. I was able to order 4 naked tenders with a compliant dry rub and a side green salad. I brought my own dressing and avocado. I also ordered the app that is all veggies- the kids and hubby ate the naan bread and dips that came with it. It was nice being prepared before going and not stressing about eating out. I think today is day 15 like eterry1977 said - I am not counting days anymore - I am just enjoying this!

Cannot believe it is Day 10 already. Feeling great although yesterday's run had my legs feeling very heavy and this morning's workoout I was struggling with my usual 15 lb weights. I have enough energy - I just feel "heavy" for lack of a better word. Day 9 meal: B: Ground turkey with Sweet potato sautedd with spinach, almond butter and raspberries L: Grass fed burger patty with mayo (love that paleo mayo!) on lettuce leaves, carrot sticks and cucumbers. D: Large salad with olives and avocado, grilled chicken and pineapple Day 10: B: 3 eggs with sauteed spinach, peppers, onion, and half a potato. Sauteed in ghee. Cherries on side. Lunch will be chicken salad made with the paleo mayo, grapes and celery. cucumber and tomato salad. Dinner will be turkey meatloaf with asparagus, sweet potato, and almond butter. I am enjoying this way of eating and so amazed that I have not needed a snack as I use to eat 5-6 small meals a day and 3 meals is leaving me very satisfied. Having such good, quality sleep puts everything else in a better place for me. Hope everyone else is doing well. It says Day 10 and 11 are when you think about quitting and I hope that is not the case for me or anyone else!

Day 7 in the books and Today is Day 8. I feel so great - I keep wondering if I am doing it wrong as I am not necessarily feeling things according to the timeline. My sleep has improved and what a world of difference that makes in the day and my energy! I have been drinking 2 cups of coffee instead of 4. Day 7 meals: B: Leftover pork chop, pineapple and green beans with almonds. L: Large salad, Grass fed burger, cucumber slices and some cantaloupe. Fat was avocado. D: Sauteed chicken in diced tomatoes with kalamata olives over zucchini noodles. Also ran 8 miles and my mile time was 45 seconds less than last week. I was expecting a slower time so that was a pleasant surprise. Day 8 meals: B: Leftover pork chop, cantaloupe, egg whites with peppers, spinach and onions.Fat was walnuts. Lunch will be chicken and turkey bacon wrapped in lettuce leaves and beets. Going to make the mayo up to try too. Dinner is Paleo swedish meatballs with sweet potato and almond butter and cucumber tomato salad. Did my p90x3 workout this morning also.

My meals today were: B: Sweet potatoes, 3 eggs over easy, beets and some fruit. 2 tsp coconut oil was my fat. L: Paleo chicken soup from the holdthegrain.com website - salad w/Balsamic vinegar and an apple with almond butter D: Asian Beef and Broccoli ( although I used green beans) from the It Starts with Food master recipes. I added half a potato and a cucumber tomato salad. Used ghee as my fat. i ran 4 miles this am and did my X3 Yoga without any issues. My run was a little slow but it was super hot and humid. Thanks so much for the suggestions. The ham was compliant - it was boiled low sodium ham from Whole foods deli and they assured me no added sugar. I will check out those sauces and make mayo! So glad this board is here for support!
