    My favorite combination right now for breakfast hash is: lean ground beef, butternut squash, kale and mushrooms. I also add salt & pepper, coconut milk & green curry paste and add ghee for added fat. If I have time I will have it with a couple sunny side up eggs on top. The runny yolk tastes absolutely delish over the breakfast hash.

    If you can find Real Thai coconut milk in the carton, it doesn't have any additives at all and it mixes with coffee very easily and stays mixed, especially with a milk frother (my new favorite toy).

    You might have been fine last week and its catching up on you (cumulative effect).  A preWO snack is just before the workout, I usually eat it within 1 hour before and consists of protein & fat, a boiled egg works well or chicken & mayo or avocado. A postWO snack is the most important out of the 2, that should be protein & starchy carb, like chicken & sweet potato, no fat.  Don't eat fruit before or after, I say that because lots of people want to eat fruit and you don't want to feed your body sugar, you are training it to be fat adapted.  The postWO snack should be eaten right after your workout and it only has to be a few bites, so as soon as your done at the gym, or in the car, before your shower, something like that but usually within 1 hour. Then you eat your full breakfast, it can be shortly later, that's fine. Make sure both of these snacks (they are not meals) are in addition to your 3 template meals. A moderator might have some other suggestions. BYI, make sure you are drinking the recommended amount of water & taking in enough salt, that can also effect your energy.     I have never found compliant chicken broth (I'm in Canada), so if I don't have time to make my own, I can always find compliant vegetable broth and then I add my chicken to it and everything else. Not sure what your making though.

    Leftover beef chili made with lots of veggies on 1/2 baked potato plus 1/2 avocado & 1 peach.

    I was at a health food store looking at Vitamin B supplements. One of the ingredients was sorbitol, of all things. When I asked someone who worked there why they have to put sorbitol in a vitamin that you swallow, they said not to worry its a "good kind" of sorbitol.

    FWIW, this is similar to the reintroduction protocol my registered dietitian used when I did an elimination diet through my doctor's office back in 2006 after food allergy testing. As I recall, the rationale for having the food in question at all three meals was to be sure you ingested enough of the food group to conduct a sufficient test for sensitivity.  If you feel crummy after 1 serving, that might be enough to stop. If you feel fine after one serving or you're not sure, it's another good reason to have the item in question at all three meals (or, if you have unclear results after 1 day, add another day of testing said food group).
     
    EDIT: the order in which you reintroduce food groups doesn't matter. The Whole30 reintroduction schedule is a sample of one possible order.

    I would go to Costa Rica (we've been trying to plan a trip there for ages). We'd rent a house on the beach, close enough to town that we could hit the market for fresh produce and fish. Our house would have an awesome kitchen, where we'd cook all of our own food... but we'd also have daily cleaning service, so we never had to clean up after ourselves.
    Fresh fish and seafood, mango salsa (we'd go during mango season, of course), fruit smoothies (because when you're on vacation, it's okay to go a little crazy), and tons and tons of fresh salads, because when I'm south of the border, I'm always craving greens.
    There would also be this little place in town that served pulled pork, chicken, and beef, and they could make us lettuce tacos with fresh salsa and mole sauce any time we asked. Yum.
    I'd focus a ton of fun and play, and surf, paddleboard, and do yoga. There would also be awesome mountain biking trails nearby in the hills (hey, it's MY vacation), and we'd take our bikes up there a few times, too.
    And we'd find an awesome, giant boat to take us fishing and snorkeling, and we'd eat fish we caught right off the boat, sushi-style. I forgot about that part.
    Heaven.
