    RX Bar - Confused

I get the point you are not so nicely trying to make but Melissa is the author of the book wearing the t-shirt and there's is quite a difference in your example and my question. I would think after all the discussion about RX Bars not being compliant, and emergency only, that she wouldn't be promoting them. I thought maybe they were again part of the program.

    RX Bar - Confused

Today on Twitter I saw Melissa doing a video about Reintroduction, while wearing an RX Bar shirt. I am guessing RX Bar's are not so "emergency-only" now? What changed?

    RX Bar - Confused

Thank you for your clarification of my 100% Chocolate/100%Cacao question. While not diabetic, I have had instances of light headedness fairly frequently where the RX Bar have come in handy to provide energy when no food was available. I also found this on The Whole 30 Web Site, albeit 2 years old, I did find it: "So we went to work researching this bar (and the guys behind it) to make sure they were a good fit for us, and for you during your Whole30. We even made the ultimate sacrifice of trying each and every flavor of RxBar ourselves. Several times. Okay, many, many times. The good news is that RxBars are not only Whole30 compliant, they’re delicious. (Not “I’ll settle for this because I’m on an airplane and have no alternative.” More like, “I’ve been on this flight for six minutes now. I think it’s time to pull out my RxBar. Yay!”) - See more at: http://whole30.com/2013/09/whole30-approved-rxbar/#sthash.0ERPc49C.dpuf" For those of us new to the program, who are not using RX Bars for an after-dinner sweet like the new "recent Email" seems to suggest, we are left wondering why these RX Bars are not approved any longer.

    RX Bar - Confused

Sort of yes. What is the relationship between 100% chocolate and 100% cacao?

    RX Bar - Confused

My confusion, and the purpose of this thread, was to ask about the RX Bar, the Cacao one, and that it has "100% chocolate" on the ingredient list. Anyone?

    RX Bar - Confused

Thank you for the feedback. If I am reading correctly, particularly Munkers reply, we are saying the words "100% chocolate" on the package of the RX Bar is to mean the same at 100% Cacao? I didn't realize that, but I am not all that familiar with Cacao. For the sake of argument, let's just flashback two months before the Email was sent out about RX Bars, and when thousands of other people successfully did Whole30 with RX Bars in their plan. (I bought the book just a couple of weeks ago and it still shows they are acceptable). My question is really related to the word "100% Chocolate" that is on the package and how that may be acceptable.

    RX Bar - Confused

Hi There - Day 15 and doing well. I bought the RxBar since it is showing as 'approved' by Whole 30. The Coconut Cacao bar has 'Whole 30 approved' stamped on the back of it. The ingredient list is: dates, egg Whites, figs, almonds, unsweetened coconut, 100% chocolate, natural coconut flavor. Isn't the '100% chocolate' something that is no allowed in Whole 30? Confused about this....Thank you!

    Mayo making failures

Are there any suggestions for those without a stick blender? I used the recipe from the Whole 30 book and it did not thicken at all. Very liquidity. I have a regular blender. Thank you
