Happened to me as well. I rarely eat eggs in the morning now but have no problem eating scrambled eggs for dinner. Taste and texture just didn’t appeal to me in the morning. Still can rarely eat eggs in the morning
What did work for me: chicken sausage, meatballs, hamburger with sliced white onion and mustard, soup (ginger carrot soup especially), even NomNomPaleo’s tuna cakes were really easy and tasty for me.

If you can find a compliant deli meat (this is one of the few i could find http://www.applegate.com/products/natural-roast-beef) you can make a deli meat wrap.
    I did:
    roast beef
roasted red pepper or banana pepper
    homemade mayonnaise or avocado
    spinach or arugula

Hey Colin, I experienced the same burnout with eggs and avocado (more so with eggs). Had to take a break from both completely. This seems common from reading other logs.

Roast beef rollups are also great with a roasted red pepper and some fresh spinach.  Can throw a lot of different things in there when you are just plain bored with other meals. Maybe toss two crunchy vegetables in a vinaigrette or in mayo+dijon and then wrap it up. I'm making myself hungry

I can second the tuna cakes that Shannon mentioned. They're awesome.
I really like taco salads. Really simple.
I made a spicy green sauce with jalapeños, cilantro, lime juice and garlic that goes great with all kinds and cuts of chicken!!

Tuna flavored mayo, also known as "tuna salad" from our office deli.  It's 51% mayo, 49% tuna. Therefore, I have declared it tuna flavored mayo.

I particularly loved this one: "Okay, so unprocessed foods... Does that mean you eat everything raw?"

And: "Can you have salads or are you forced to eat everything separately?" (Just.... what?)

Also recently: "So are you still not consuming any carbs?"

    Sounds AWESOME.

I don't usually add anything to the meat. I really like to top with sliced white onion and a drizzle of dijon mustard.

I made a taco salad yesterday with ground beef and was thinking this would make a good burger:
ground meat,  taco seasoning (for me: cumin, chili powder, garlic and onion powder, oregano, red pepper flakes, paprika),  chopped olives,  chopped pickled jalapenos.

First day after my W30 ended, I had peanut butter.  Tasted it and thought... WOW this is the most delicious thing I've ever had.  A few hours later, I was dealing with a headache and a general feeling of brain fog.  When I got home, I read the label on the peanut butter. Sugar is the second ingredient. No wonder it was so good.

When you do the W30 and you realize that food tastes great without added sugar, you realize that the sugar isn't there for you to taste, it's there to affect your brain, so that you come back for more.

Keep in mind that there are a lot of people that associate the word "healthy" with things that are not necessarily "healthy".  Like ordering a salad with just lettuce and shredded carrots, opting out of the hard boiled egg AND the dressing because fat is bad (healthy?), or eating a football sized chipotle burrito but it's OK because you got brown rice and no sour cream (healthy??).

Since my coworkers had a bit of a condescending attitude about it, I've just been saying what Britishgal has written. I eat real food and eliminated the things that people often have trouble with like beans, soy, dairy, etc, and if I find that those things don't effect me, then I'll take them back into my diet.

ELemon30 got a reaction from GFChris in Day 22 - Crying constantly and short tempered!?!
Hey, I had the same experience and these two things helped me:

    1. More starchy veg, as GFChris and others have said
    2. Red meat (I ate a good piece of simple seared ribeye, and a ground beef burger another time). Is it possible you are not having enough fat and really not feeling satisfied with your meals? It took me until around week 2 to realize that I was not putting enough fat in my meals.

I definitely think hormones and stress could be playing a part, especially if you are like me and would reach for sugars / grains to deal with the physical signs of stress.  When I didn't give my body what it expected - the pepperoni pizza, the Doritos, the Phish Food ice cream - I got very emotional and short-tempered.  I'm on day 31 and do feel a lot better.

dang, wish you would've made this post yesterday instead of today : I also baked bone-in skin-on thighs yesterday, but just seasoned them with salt & pepper. Tasty but boring; now I know what to do next time!
