    High Cholesterol!!!

I think you're on the right track. Thyroid's a great one to check, as is the addition of organ meats.

    High Cholesterol!!!

The higher the HDL the better, in traditional circles as well. Don't worry about it. Your levels look good!

    Turned off from food

Why don't you make some sushi, then? just make it riceless with some coconut aminos. You could also try loading up on starchy veggies.

    Carbs, most likely

Loss of appetite on second Whole30?

You could try eating a carb heavier breakfast...so eggs and sweet potatoes instead of a spinach/asparagus frittata. The extra carbs in the morning should perk up your appetite, since they don't stimulate the satiety hormone.

How did you rig up the plexiglass covered bed? I'm in 5, so I'd love to get some fresh stuff in the winter, but I don't know how reasonable that is.

    Chipolte Peppers in Abdo Sauce??

Yup! As long as it isn't an added ingredient, you're fine.

    Chipolte Peppers in Abdo Sauce??

Some brands have sugar it then, so just be careful, but what you posted looks fine

That forbid deadlifting? Absolutely. Every Planet Fitness. Deadlifting will set off the lunk alarm every time. Some managers may be better than others, but as a company policy...no deadlifts

Spending way too much $$ on groceries!

Everybody above has some good thoughts. M&D definitely stress the importance of quality (pastured, organic, etc), but they also tell you to buy what you can afford. If that means conventional everything, so be it. Eating the conventionally raised stuff is STILL better for you than munching down on wheat, corn and processed foods. One of the big takeaways (imo) is, if you can only afford to buy one type of higher quality food, prioritize the protein before the veggies. For the longest time in my Paleo life, the only high quality thing I could purchase were eggs. It was the best bang for my buck, imo. I don't eat a lot of fish, because I can't afford the wild stuff that I want. (though lobster will be on the menu this summer!) Other options: Buy frozen veggies Buy in bulk. Tropical traditions has 5 gallon buckets of coconut oil on sale OFTEN. way cheaper than what's in the stores Grow some of your own veggies, or at least greens (kale, spinach, lettuces) They're pretty fast growing and way cheaper than organic options Understand that this is only for 30 days. There are some "less bad" options that you may be able to add back into your diet if you want to, or feel like you need some cheap calorie fillers. Note that this is NOT optimal for health, but if that's what your budget requires, we aren't going to flog you for it.

    Approved Sweeteners

You can do whatever you want while not on a W30, but under zero circumstances do I believe that soda of any variety makes you anything but LESS healthy. Your call though! Personally, I can't stand the taste of it anymore. Sickeningly sweet

    Don't over think this.

Lara Bars should be emergency food ONLY! The blueberry muffin bar actually isn't compliant because of the vanilla extract in it.

    Ideas for more fats?!

Animal fat! Strain off the juices from a roast chicken/turkey and keep the fat for cooking. Render some lard or tallow.

    Don't over think this.

Sharon, yes! Just try to avoid using it with high heat. If it's all you have handy, it's not going to be a huge thing...but it's a delicate oil and you shouldn't overheat it.

    Weight Loss?

Nikka, follow the meal templates. Are you using 1-2 thumbs of oil per meal? Are you eating 1-2 palms of protein? Yes? You're fine.

    Weight Loss?

Danielle, first of all, losing 105lbs doing ANYTHING is awesome, so congratulations! I know you know that this isn't about weight loss, but let me just reiterate: This isn't about weight loss. Seriously. This is about changing your relationship with food. Regardless of where you are with your weight loss goals, the most important thing here, for the next 30 days is to stop/fix/change obsessive behavior and stressing about food. Food SHOULDN'T DO THAT TO PEOPLE! Take the 30 days and trust the meal templating guidelines. Do NOT try to outsmart them. M&D have built them with their audience's number 1 goal in mind, even though that's not the point. Thinking you know better is a surefire way to sabotage yourself and your goals. Focus on enjoying your food and not worrying about every calorie. Stop counting points! Go for some walks, lift something heavy. RELAX!

Where is the guidance on reintroducing Alcohol?

whatever you do, don't reintroduce alcohol with a gluten containing beverage. (beer, many vodkas, rye whiskeys, etc) Cider is awesome
