    Hi LindsayO,
I have used coconut butter to make “fat bombs” before - there are probably other recipes but this is one I’ve made previously to try to get enough food in my very athletic husband while he was doing a Whole30 with me. Omit the maple syrup for Whole30 and leave out the walnuts since you’re sensitive to nuts. There really didn’t taste sweet to me at all and I never wanted more than a serving at once, so I had no issues with feeling like it was a SWYPO treat - but if you feel these could wake up the sugar dragon for any reason, save them for your life after Whole30! https://whatgreatgrandmaate.com/blueberry-walnut-coconut-fat-bombs/
    hope this helps!

Both of these ingredients are fine.

I am also feeling SUPER heavy, overly full all the time and more bloated than I have ever been (W30 Day 3 for me). Honestly feel like I’ve been eating greasy fries and hamburgers even though it’s also the healthiest I’ve ever eaten! Very confusing... Wondering if the fats in every meal (avocado, a ton of ground turkey and olive oil, and coconut oil in my coffee even) is just triggering hormonal/ bile issues? Or maybe my gut is just that messed up and having to adjust so much? I pretty much have to force myself to eat during the day and get nauseous easily. I definitely feel your pain! @LindsayO Hoping it gets better soon

What a bummer! I have felt that way after using too much ghee as well...I usually just use a touch of avocado oil to cook my eggs in now. That seems to work better for me. Did you lay the bacon on a paper towel for a second before placing it into your container? That should help soak up just a bit of the excess grease. I definitely think it is important to start your day off with protein + some healthy fats....so don't get discouraged that today was a bit off, you're on the right track! Switch it up tomorrow and see if less ghee or a different oil helps. You could also try hard boiled eggs (possibly with a dollop of whole30 mayo), some sliced avocado, and bacon/sausage instead and see how that feels. Good luck!

As much as I love coffee, it no longer agrees with me  I have severe gut issues and coffee affects my gut and produces brain fog/bloating. I have leaky gut and bottom line is that drinking coffee is very unpredictable, sometimes it's fine but many times lately it just makes me sick.
The problem is, that tea just doesn't do it for me! I've tried every tea, and the only tea that I somewhat like is green tea. But it doesn't give me the energy kick like coffee does, and it just doesn't compare to that good coffee feeling you get in the morning! I'm going to try and add MCT Oil to my green tea to see if that helps give me the energy kick I usually get with coffee.
I'm also thinking about drinking bone broth in the morning as I know it will probably do wonders for my gut. But it's not as good as coffee....
Has anybody quit coffee and what did you use a substitute? Back when I tolerated coffee, it was a great part of my morning routine and felt so good. Yet I don't seem to have that experience with any other beverage...

I'd second the Crio Bru type drinks. I bought myself a sampler pack for Mother's Day, and I've been really enjoying them. I usually add some into my morning coffee so I get a chocolate-y undertone to the coffee itself, but I've also tried a couple of them brewed alone... mixed with just a bit of almond milk, it's quite a nice departure from my usual morning drinks. I sometimes add a dash of cinnamon with mine, also.

Have you tried the cacao based beverages like choffy or crio bru? I don't have them real often, but they're a nice change. Don't expect it to taste like hot chocolate, it's not sweetened, it's just brewed cocoa beans, but it's not bad.
There was a discussion here on the forum recently about the mushroom based drinks, I don't remember if anyone ever went back and posted an actual review of them or if it was just people asking if anyone had tried them.
You might also consider quitting all caffeine at some point and seeing how that affects things. It can be pretty miserable at first, but after a couple of weeks you may be surprised to find that you don't need the morning jolt of coffee anymore.

If it makes you feel bloated, that sounds like a pretty solid reason to ditch it.

If it keeps you from eating a meal, and it's causing you to feel bloated, it is not really helping you, health-wise.
It is up to you (except the flavored varieties have stevia so they're out for your whole30 anyway), but why not give it up for 30 days and see how you feel, then treat it like your other reintroductions, see how you feel when you have it, and then decide how it fits into your food freedom?
