  1. I'd suggest avoiding FODMAPS foods and see if that helps.

    I cheat and get the boneless/skinless ones. I know the skin and bones are the most healthy, but it grosses me out!

  4. I take cholestyramine too! I had my gallbladder out 10 years ago, and my issues didn't start until about 6-7 years later. I believe grain consumption weakened my small intestine's ability to reabsorb bile. I'm hoping that the cholestyramine is a temporary stop-gap until I am healed enough to not need it. I chose to continue to take it. Frankly, I don't know how I managed before, but it has helped immensely! Digestive enzymes help, but with bile-absorption issue, were only part of the solution.

  7. It took me a year for my PF to heal completely. Don't mean to discourage you! Just wanted to say that stubborn is as stubborn does, but hang in there!!! I also wasn't W30 that whole time, so I'd hope you see results much faster.

    Normal should be real food! I saw something on the news the other day about the "Real Food Fad" -- like it's another fad diet or something!!!
  11. FISH OIL!

    I use the same kind as MrsStick. I take 2 capsules, and my 9-year old takes 1 capsule daily. It's the only way I can get fish oil down her, and I swear it helps her ADHD!

    Coconut oil is anti fungal, so it might help calm it down. I always rub some there -- fought a rash there for months too, but mine wasn't ketosis-related. Worth a try if you have some on hand.

    Could be a Candida/yeast growth, in that spot too. Topical coconut oil usually helps. If you can stand it, it should go away as the lack of sugar and refined foods is eliminated out of your system.

    Which reminds me, this same daughter, that plays hockey 5 days a week in winter, soccer and track in the summer, came home from a field trip and had only eaten a tiny bit of her lunch. I asked her why, and she replied, "Elise's mom says calories make people fat and my meat has a lot of calories." OMG! She's healthy and active, loves salmon and asparagus and veggies. This woman has her freaking out, at age 7, about calories. I was so furious I didn't even know what to say!
