    Starting March 1st

Thanks for doing this. During my first whole30 the group for our month did that and we found it a lot easier to stay in touch, share ideas and motivate one another.

June 1st 2016! DO or DIE right?!?!

So far so good here. I think because this is our second round we are finding things a lot easier; but this time around my challenges have been definitely more cravings and we live in a small town with only one grocery store and I haven't been able to get to the city (2 hrs away) so no Lara bars, no compliant bacon or sausage, no cashew butter and no compliant coconut milk grrrrr. We are making due but even if I order online the shipping time takes forever. Hoping in a few days when my dad visits I can get him to load up on provisions for me. I did try 3 new recipes this week that were delish. Shepards pie with sweet potatoe topping (just diced up all my own veggies instead of using the corn mix i would have in the past) Chicken thighs coated in evoo, juice of a lemon, lemon zest, garlic powder and s&p roasted for 40 minutes at 400°(flip at 20 min) Apple cinnamon pork tenderloin- just made slits along the length of the tenderloin and stuffed apple slices in the slits. In my baking dish I put a layer of apple slices on the bottem, about half a ladle of beef bone broth (could use any broth I would guess that just what I had made) Placed the tenderloin on top and sprinkled the whole thing with a generous amount of cinnamon. Oven at 400° for about 35 minutes. It was A-mazing!!

I just toss them in a bit of extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper and a good dose of balsamic vinegar. Roast at 350 degrees about half an hour.

June 1st 2016! DO or DIE right?!?!

Hi everyone. Hubby and I ate starting today as well. This is round 2 for us. We did a really successful whole30 in February. Learned tons about our bodies and made some good changes; but over the last 2 months some bad habits have crept back in and it's time for a reset. I'm so excited because I remember that as hard as some days were, the end results are so worth it!

    I'm ready. Start Feb. 8th

So far having a great first day. Breakfast was good. I premade egg/compliant sausage/and veggie muffins and had 2 of those and half an avacado. Lunch was out at a restraunt. I ordered greek salad no feta,no dressing and i brought my own homemade balsamic dressing and added some cashews. Supper tonight is Balsamic Beef Roast, sauteed veggies and sweet potatoes. Im not following the meal plan for the first week im finding it easier to j i st plan my own menue. I definitly think preparing my menu for the week and prepping a lot ahead of time has and will continue to make a huge difference. Off to my workout now. Would love to join the facebook group too but cant seem to find it.

  12. My origanal start day was today but my husband who wants tp do this too wants to enjoy the superbowl first. And one of my best friends wants to start as well but she has company all this week so the 8th is a perfect start date for us all. Im 34 my husbands 35 and We both have autoimmune diseases (he has rheumatoid arthritis and I have hashimotos) We are looking forward to finding out whats really affecting us, and im hoping the byproduct will be a bit of weightloss, better sleep and clearer skin and just in general better food habits for both of us. We dont eat out too much as we live in a very small town but we are both nightime snackers which isnt good for us. Looking forward to seeing where this takes us.
