    It may be part of the healing detoxing process.... Your liver and kineys are flushing out waste and need more water to do this. You also don't hold as much water when you have less carbs o maybe your body wants a higher reserve...

    So I made this great breakfast of leftover cooked veges with three beaten eggs and showed off my beautiful creation still in the pan to my partner and instead of telling me how great it looked I got.... thats a lot to eat for breakfast!!!

    But it's probably the artificial sweeteners that are contributing/causing her migraines, and crystal light has the same artificial sweeteners in it as diet soda...I used to get headaches from splenda and aspartame (though I had to consume a lot more aspartame to get a headache, which I think is odd)

    Since our stomach fills up by volume, it makes more sense to use volume than weight. Veg is 1-2 cups per meal.
    You could think of a cup of veg as what you can fit into two hands cupped together if that works for you. Good luck.

    a conversation between some coworkers today that goes like this:
     
    "I can't eat gluten (she has a sensitivity) but I still eat junk food... it makes me feel sick"  -- well uh, if it makes you feel sick, why do you eat it?
     
    (when someone mentioned not eating carbs - meaning breads -  today) "I don't know what planet you're on, but that's just not possible for me"
     
    "I don't eat (red) meat so I don't feel bad eating carbs" - another coworker's respone to this was "oh yeah that balances out" -- yeah, totally balances out.
     
    "I would die if I couldn't eat cheese, I love cheese"  -- acutally I'm quite certain you would not die.
     
    I'm just keep my head down and rolling my eyes. lol
