  1. I'm having the same problem to some extent. I do tend to be a night owl but am ready for sleep by midnight. Now I can't sleep and then I have trouble waking up.

    The biggest effect with anesthesia is that a lot of times patients are given dexamethasone to prevent nausea. It is a steroid and will increase your blood sugar for a day. It's not something that has to be given. Bless you.

    Tomorrow will be a real test. It's going to be a work day. I've already packed some basics. After dinner I will pack up the leftovers.

    Day 3 and all is mostly well. I find that I am not hungry for meal 3. I'm on plan but eating a very small meal at night.

    Good afternoon all. I'm starting the new year with Whole 30 and a positive mindset.

    New Day and a New Year. Day 1: I slept in so meal 1 was at noon. Dishes washed and put away. My kitchen and counter are in order. Kitty given a treat. Email answered. Now on to decluttering my bedroom.

    Starting August 20!

    Starting week 2. I hope everyone is still going strong. I have noticed some changes. My knees don't hurt. I'm not as bloated. I wake up more rested. hugs

    @CCLaymon, My daughter is a senior this year. I'm so not ready for her to go off to college, Good eating on the cruise. You might want to take your own olive oil for your salads. Also, check with the cruise line and ask about the food prep.

    Finishing day 2 and feeling great. I'm using my leftovers from dinner for my 1st meal the next day.

    Re start on 20 Aug. Messed up this morning. After working 24 hours I went out to breakfast with the team. Lets just say you should never go out to eat when you are over tired.

    @stonehouse I'm not quite getting up without the alarm but I am sleeping better. I'm also able to get into my small scrub pants.

    Will you have access to a fridge? Canned meats... tuna, chicken Frozen veggies, or canned or best...fresh Olive oil for salads, My go to dressing is olive oil, lemon and garlic.

    On my first try at W30, it was suggested to stop thinking breakfast. lunch, dinner and think meal 1. meal 2. meal 3. I usually eat left overs from dinner.

    @Raenstorm Don't forget your fats. They really will help keep you full. Keep something to drink where you can get to it.
