Thanks @BecFreeby, I don't have a diffuser, but it's just one click away. Thank you for the advice and kind words. I am getting back to feeling those pockets of goodness (interspersed with those pockets of exhaustion or frustration), which I'm grateful for. Good for you for pushing through when life is doing you wrong! Soemtimes, it's just a relief to prove to the universe that you have control over SOMETHING, and why not this piece of your health? Three more days. We can do hard things.

Day 24 and I'm pretty tired. I took NyQuil for two nights over the weekend and I feel that it put me back a bit. Moody and tired--I guess taking cold medicine after three weeks of clean eating can have some real side effects. Still, I now the sleep I got from the meds definitely helped me get better. I'm excited to be finishing the last week strong, however. Hang in there, everyone!

Day 19! And...I have a cold. This happened during my first whole 30 too. Took a cold eeze and then spit it out when I realized it was flavored. Checked the box and, yup, had corn syrup. Sigh. Any fave whole30 cold remedies out there?

Hi Friends, It's nice to read through the threads. I find that my energy and cravings can be cyclical. I think I have kicked the cravings and regain energy for a few days, and then it comes back with a vengeance for a couple of days. I just try to enjoy the good days and know they'll come back around. Last night I woke up a 3 a.m. from a dream that I was eating pizza. I tried for a couple of hours, but just couldn't fall back asleep. Yikes! Thank goodness coffee is compliant. Happy Day 13 Everyone.

When Will I Have Normal Poop!?

You might have a sensitivity to something you're eating. I ended up cutting out coconut my first Whole30 and that really helped (limited my food options, but helped my overall health). Good luck!

Hi Friends, Jumping in a little late, but I also started on January 8th. This forum helped me so much with my first Whole 30 in April 2016. I did a whole14 last year, but it’s time for another whole 30. How is day 9 treating everyone? I’m just a little fatigued by the prep and have the regular tummy trouble issues, but other than that I’m doing ok.

    Poo problems

This happens to me when I do Whole 30, and was particularly bad with my first one. I had to cut out a couple things (especially coconut and sweet potato). Taking probiotics helped. If you aren't sensitive to coconut, some coconut water should help get things moving. By the third week, once I realized what was irritating my stomach, it got a lot better. Good luck! (And I ended up losing 13 lbs during and after the whole 30, once the bloat went down).

    Severe IBS on Whole30

This happened to me in my first Whole 30 and made it way harder than it had to be. Turned out I had to cut out sweet potato (which I had never had a problem with before, but which I had eaten every day for a week) and coconut (again, no problem in the past, but I'd never eaten it in the quantity I was during that first week--coconut milk/oil as a frequent substitute). I've avoided both this second time around and it's been easier, although my stomach is still super gassy and unregulated the first week. Once I started taking probiotics, it got better as well. Hang in there! Some course correction should get you on a good road.

Hey Old Friends, It's been almost a year. This forum was so, so helpful to me doing my first ever whole 30. I lost 13 lbs in that month and the month following, felt amazing, and changed my eating habits for good. I have managed to eat 80% whole 30 for almost a year, but a tough February and some regular wine-drinking and blue corn tortilla-chip eating saw some weight gain, back pain, and lower energy. I've been resetting if anyone wants to join me! I'm on Day 6. Hope you all are doing well.

Hi Friends, I'm on Day 6 of my second Whole30. Last night, my husband and I went out to a beautiful restaurant by the water and they didn't allow substitutions. Luckily, the waiter made some suggestions and I had a delicious beet salad and salmon, leaving the goat cheese and lentils for my husband to eat. While he drank two delicious-looking cocktails, i had sparkling water in a wine glass. I just needed to share that somewhere because I'm really proud of myself. I just had to keep reminding myself that we could come back and enjoy a rare kids-free night with my honey and an amazing view. It's nice to remember that I can enjoy myself without wine and cheese. How is everyone feeling? I remember this being a really tough weekend my first time around.

Hey Everybody! Happy Day 30 Eve. What is everyone's plan after tomorrow? It took such a long time to sort out my tummy issues, I'm thinking of doing another week to let everything heal up. Enjoy dinner tonight!

Day 25! I made this recipe last night with olive oil instead of coconut oil (not going near coconut for a while after weeks 2 and 3 of stomach pain), and am having it for breakfast this morning. So yum! Have a good day, everyone! http://paleogrubs.com/roasted-broccoli-recipe

I'm kind of hitting a food plateau, especially now that I can't have a sweet potato with everything. What's your favorite dish you guys have made this week? Day 21 and I still crave sugar in my coffee every morning, but the night time snacking impulse has gone way down.
