    Sunflower lecithin?

I'm just curious why sunflower lecithin is allowed in the Whole30 program... Cuz I guess our goal is reduce inflammatory items, but I have read that lecithin can actually be difficult for the body to digest and can be inflammatory. My guess to the answer would be if you are still seeing inflammatory symptoms on Whole30, then the next step would be to cut out this item? Just like how FODMAP foods can be cut out individually if you are still seeing issues. Just wanted to stir the pot a bit. Cuz even though I LOVE allowing this item so I can purchase commercially made almond milk, it just got me thinking

    Can I have Marijuana

I'm glad this is a topic that has already been discussed (and even commented on by Melissa herself!) I honestly think if it's used for medicinal use (to avoid taking pharmaceutical drugs) and recommended by a doctor (in a legal state), I don't see why it should be an issue. Obviously cooking it into something like ghee or coconut oil is way better than smoking. Just got to make sure if it makes you munchie, to be sure to know whether you can handle those cravings during a Whole30. My boyfriend has asked me this question and I'm glad I found the topic and can answer intelligently

    Kombucha

I SWEAR I felt buzzed after drinking my first one too! I got GT's Passionberry Bliss. BUT I drank it right after an hour long workout, so I think that had a lot to do with it. Probably just endorphins or something in my case, but it was the closest to buzzed I've been in a long time lol. Gotta be careful. I had the second half of the bottle the following day after a meal and felt fine. Probably was just the empty stomach. Thanks for asking the question about home-brew! I was thinking of making my own and was concerned about the sugar you add to start the concoction. I'm on a very strict Whole30 budget, so I can't afford to buy $3+ bottles for every day. I like how my body reacts to it though

    Mayo help!

I'll have to check out this weekend if our Whole Foods carries it! I find that the one in Madison is lacking in a lot of areas. At least they have compliant bacon

    Mayo help!

I made avocado oil (from Costco) mayo in my food processor and it is AMAZING! I had the egg at room temperature and poured the oil VERY slowly (it probably took a minute of pouring). I made it with olive oil my first time and I'm not sure which I like more... either way, it's great to have mayo again! For those who are having issues, there IS a mayo you can buy on Amazon that's already done (and it's compliant!). My friend ordered it for her Whole30 because she didn't want to make the mayo herself. Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil Mayo!!! It's $13.37 for 12 fl oz jar on Amazon Prime. They also have a chipotle lime mayo that I would LOVE to replicate!

    Wine cravings.

I'm still battling wine cravings. I had one day between my second and third Whole30 and all I wanted was a glass of merlot lol. I have found doing dishes when I get home from work my new routine (doing the dishes is actually therapeutic for me). It's a new habit, but it's a useful/productive one. You're SOO close! Good luck!
