    Tytbody Happy Belated Anniversary!  I hope you enjoyed your R.L.!  Last night I had some corn chips with some guacamole.  Feeling good, mentally and physically.
     
    My stay-cation is pretty blah.  At least I am not at work.  I want to do something but no one is available so I might drive to the beach tomorrow.  Today I have a bunch of errands and 5K training, otherwise a pretty quiet day.

    it turned out better then I imagined. We didn't go to RL but found a place closer and more my style.  I like th wood glossy tables and the wood beams in places like that. Seems the sea food tastes better..     no tuxedos. lol    
     
    and I'm awake to say, I feel good. Nothing is bad in my stomach..   So onward to Lobster and maybe butter. I don't know.

    it is a beautiful day. I like it when it's 70s.. In my neck of the woods I have some tree shade and a little porch that holds 2 chairs.   s. the dog and I are sitting here in our PJs. thanking God for a New Year, another day to be kind to people. Another day to be grateful I can walk. and another day he woke me up from watching over me sleep.   I'm pretty happy and I'm going to stay this way.  At least for today.. lol 
     
    Oh, I even had the zucchini and squash and potato salad..  It wasn't loaded with mayonnaise and I like it that way..

    it's a battle battle battle ..  You all made me smile today.. the Brownies, the 30th B party, and the cotton candy...  SherriC, lol you win for the biggest belly roll laugh I can muster up today..
     
    I have no words of encouragement because today, 'm going to Red Lobster and enjoy those darn little sea food delicacies with who knows what kind of oil they use for that scampi and other stuff.. 
     
    I think, for me, I've not eaten at Red Lobster all year. .I'm going to enjoy it.  
    Since today is my anniversary and husband and I are on the rocks,   WTF.. yes, food will be my pleasure reason for eating it today.. I have to keep a smile on my face and it's up to me. 
     
    It's cheaper then buying Jewelry, a pocketbook or a mani-pedi..    yup. that's my Tude today..

    Still feeling good...I had real mayo on some tuna yesterday.  I also had a sliver of chocolate cake.  That was the first "sweet" I've had and I didn't want anymore.  Plus it just didn't taste as good as it used to.
     
    5K training is not quite going as planned.  I have tremendous pain in my upper back and neck when I try to run.  I'm not sure if it is tightness or the high intensity of running so for now I am power walking.  I am going to go to the gym with my future daughter in law and try an elliptical to see if that is any better.
     
    The alternative is that I start playing Pokémon Go.  We live near a gym and you should see the wackjobs driving around, yes I said driving, with their cell phones up trying to catch Pokémon.  I could walk around the neighborhood and try to "Catch Them All."  lol

    Glad you're feeling better BigMamma! I feel back to normal now as well...those corn tortilla chips (or whatever it was) that I reacted to are out of my system and since yesterday afternoon, I've felt great again! I'm basically staying complaint now until Tuesday, when I think I'm going to try dairy for the first time with some milk in my coffee. I'm not wanting to add back milk in my coffee on a daily basis, but I'd like to know how I react to it in case I want a latte from Starbucks every now and then. We'll see!!!

    The science experiment continues...due to some social obligations I had a cheeseburger 2 nights in a row and bam I woke up this morning soooooo cranky. Not to mention I felt my belly coming back.  I think gluten (not dairy) is my achilles heel.  I have had corn chips one night and no problems.  I need to isolate dairy to be sure.
     
    It's great to see everyone trying different things and what their reactions are.  I am staying compliant except for those dinners and some wine.  I have felt fine except for this morning.

    samnkelli I had a small spot of them when I was 21!  I asked and I still could get them again because it was so long ago and such a small area.  Don't wait to see a doctor.  When I turn 50 I can get the vaccine which will be later this fall.

    Good Morning All!  It's great to see some new folks here.
     
    Except for the rice and soy I have stayed template.  Next week I am on vacation from work.  I am not going away and I plan on introducing either gluten or dairy at that time in a small amount.  I don't want to rock the boat too much and be miserable at work so probably Friday or Saturday I will have something off plan.  We have a sporting event on Saturday to attend and Friday night (when vacation starts) we have a comedy night.  I will see how it goes!

    Tytbody I am going to finish up my ghee that I have made and then I am not sure.  I don't plan on reintroducing a whole lot of stuff because first of all I feel great and secondly I am scared.  I don't want to be the way I was, tired and cranky.  I also know that if I have some of my old foods then I will start craving other things.  If I have a sandwich, then I will want chips and so on.  I feel that when I eliminated all these foods with the Whole 30 my cravings for the really "bad" stuff went away.
     
    Maybe I need to learn some self discipline or maybe I am like an alcoholic, I can't just have one drink or I will go back into it.  I really don't know but mentally I am not prepared to try.

    I hope everyone is having a great 4th.  My neighborhood is popping with fireworks (not legal) but oh well.  I am having a glass of pinot noir and now I am craving all things that go with red wine, cheese, pasta etc.  I have reintroduced soy in small amounts.  We use a basting oil at work that is soy oil and almost all the veggies are cooked with it and since I spend most of my time there I figured I would give that a try.  So far so good.  I have had no gluten or sugars.  I am almost positive that those are my triggers, well, except for wine.
     
    I have lost a few more pounds, the 5K training is helping with that.
     
    Here's to the red, white and blue.  Oh wait, I am having the red, lol.

    I've been absent s few days but here it goes.  Lost 12 pounds!  I had some sushi on Friday so I had rice and soy sauce.  I know we are supposed to do one at a time but the rice was minimal.  I seemed to have know problem with that.  I plan to stay mostly compliant because I feel great.  I know on the 4th I will have an adult beverage as I have to work straight through tomorrow and then I have 2 days off.
     
    I am so happy to see so many of us here!!!!

    You know the saying, Beans, beans, the more you eat, the more you....  I used to get cramps like that all the time.  I don't know if it was dairy, gluten or what.  I have been eating eggs every day since starting the whole 30 and have not had that happen at all which blows ( a little pun) my mind.  I have had soy in the legume family and have been fine so far.  Those pains are horrible, I'd rather give birth, that is how bad mine have been in the past.  It's amazing as I read how everyone's reintroduction is going that I realize how many things have changed for the better.  I haven't thought about those cramps until you posted and that I haven't had them.  Another win in the Whole 30 column!

    You know the saying, Beans, beans, the more you eat, the more you....  I used to get cramps like that all the time.  I don't know if it was dairy, gluten or what.  I have been eating eggs every day since starting the whole 30 and have not had that happen at all which blows ( a little pun) my mind.  I have had soy in the legume family and have been fine so far.  Those pains are horrible, I'd rather give birth, that is how bad mine have been in the past.  It's amazing as I read how everyone's reintroduction is going that I realize how many things have changed for the better.  I haven't thought about those cramps until you posted and that I haven't had them.  Another win in the Whole 30 column!

    Omg, what a night.  I introduced legumes the other day including about 4 bites of my daughter's taco meat that had some black beans in it.  that was a big mistake!  I was up ALL NIGHT with horrible gas pains, the worst I've ever had in my life.  I've never experienced anything like that.  it went on and on with very little 'release'.  awake till 4 am!  Feel like crap today. 
    Back on the template for a few days till I feel better again.

    Hi, I want to join the fun. I did my 5th Whole30 (in about 4 years) from May 30-June 28. (I think those dates are right.)
     
    I have already been tracking my reintros in my Whole30 log (in my bio). To summarize, I started with GF grains, and I think corn is not my friend. Did alcohol Sat night, which we all know is no one's friend. (But my Whole30-doing friends wanted to get together and have a celebratory drink and otherwise compliant meal, and it was too fun to pass up!)
     
    Yesterday, outside of my scheduled reintro days, I had a restaurant meal that I know contained at least dairy, maybe soy and gluten. Whatever it was, my body noticed. Ugh. So I am going to W30 a few days until Tiger Blood resumes, then continue with reintroing gluten and dairy.
     
    Also, yesterday, I displayed mastery of Melissa's One Bite Rule. I was out with my mom and daughter, and they each got a smoothie. I tasted one sip of each of theirs. The sugar hit was so powerful, I did not want another sip. (And I was thirsty! I had nothing to drink myself.) Later at that restaurant, my mom ordered creme brulee, and I tasted one bite, and decided further bites would not be worth it. (And I'm a creme brulee freak!) This is the HUGEST victory, as my primary issue with food is an insatiable sugar dragon. :D
