Hi there @Shawnni and @Jane3797 - it's so good to see your posts. @Shawnni - that is a very distinct message your body gave you with the reintro foods. It's good to know you've still got your square of 90% to take the edge off. I really hear you with the call of the over-stimulating foods. I've just started reintroducing yesterday but the build up has been one of biscuit and cake hallucinations - which I've ignored!! They are, after all, just old messages from a bunch of faulty wiring. I'm glad you had a great adventure and it's good to see you back here. I might post a few re-intro tales to keep me real. @Jane3797 I love your breakdown of food approaches and their role in your wellbeing. I had a jolt of recognition with so much of what you said. I am 55 and determined to nail these food issues, plus back, hip and left foot problems! How strange. I hope to join you on October 1st. It will be another 4 weeks for me doing re-intro as I am planning to leave at least 3 days between items. Did you ever find anything to replace banana with in the banana bread? Well, the first item to have a go with was legumes. Peanuts were not very kind, punching me in the stomach for much of the morning. Chickpeas no problem (so far). There's nothing I can see about reintroducing things like vegetable oils. Do you think they come under the remit of gluten-free grains, or have their own category?

@Heather_r How nice to see you again. Posting can be just one more thing to do when life is busy and you're doing all that W30 chopping. I'm going to be here for another 10 days getting ready to reintroduce. I TOTALLY get not wanting to explain yourself. It gets me really grumpy if I get any 'eye rolling'. Good luck with your guests and kitchen/restaurant challenges. Just 3 more days till re-entry @Jane3797 It's so nice to see you're planning to stay awhile. I've got used to everyone's unfolding stories and am wondering how reintroductions are going. I'm supposed to be moving in 14 days (but who knows really with conveyancing delays) so will work on reintro once everything is moved out and in as I'm not sure I'll be able to separate moving symptoms from dairy ones! I'm so pleased you've experienced some relief from your symptoms. A sugar-free life would be great, but maybe not completely practical. I've made some jam with just plums and chia seeds that T really loves and I'm waiting to sample in a couple of weeks! Hemsley and Hemsley also do a really good banana bread recipe with no added sugar - not even a date! http://www.hemsleyandhemsley.com/recipe/banana-bread-2/

Congratulations to all on your multiple victories. @LesTodd that's great you and hubby and going to make this an annual event - enjoy those new muscles! @Ginsky - Brave move starting with sugar, albeit virtuous high cocoa content choc. I know what you mean about SWYPO stuff. Sugar for me is one of those things, and it can be fine for a couple of days - small amounts, no cravings, then one day BANG as my brain roars at me to get it, get it, get it now! I'm planning on the official reintro in 12 days but having 3-4 days in between food item reintroductions. I didn't have dairy or gluten before W30, so I'm going to have an experiment and see what happens if I have them again. I'm also going to treat sugar as a reintro item. I'm pretty nervous about it now the sugar cravings have gone, and truly my life would be fine without it, but I think that's unrealistic over a lifetime, so knowing how to keep it 'moderately immoderate' is my aim.

@Ginsky. That's awful that you went through that experience; that sort of thing can leave us feeling really vulnerable and wobbly. You did so well to stay aware and on track as I'm unsurprised your appetite left you. @WholeCourtney I'll think of you laying back with your glass. It's been great to be part of your whole 30 @HopingtoHeal Congrats on your shrinkage and happy camping. Well Day 31 and it will be strange not to see all the posts here. I'm going to check back in from time to time for my own sake as I start to reintroduce things. Just logging it here will keep me connected I think. Hopefully there will be a smattering of posts as I'm interested to know how all you lovelies are getting on.

What is it with me and sending messages too soon? I'm interested to see that I now have 3 dots and am showing as an advanced member. Does anyone know how that works? I thought the 2 dots meant it was my second whole 30 and that's where it would stay. But apparently not.

@Jane3797 thanks so much for taking the time to put this together. I'm forwarding to my friend who will, I know, be very grateful. @Srini and @Jane3797 - I think I'll join you in October. I plan to spend the next month reintroducing, then will go freestyle August and September - seeing if I can retain a paleo approach for the majority of the time. @HopingtoHeal That's not nice having bad back and head, but you made it to the 30 and it sounds like your tape measure is about to tell you some good news. I too don't weigh myself - and didn't measure anything - and don't wear tight clothes! So I'm going to go with the mirror and the fact that my pyjames seem to be hanging a bit looser. Simple pleasures. Just dinner to go and Day 30 is in the bag. @Shawnni Thoughts will be with you as you hit the road. It would be great to hear how you get on. 7.5 lbs is a nice result. I'

Whoops, premature button pressing.... @Ginsky How are your muscles today? Life without coconut doesn't seem to be affecting your aerial ways. I've still got to get out and buy spinach for those green eggs, so will enjoy that one at the weekend. @Fiddi I like the idea of reintroducing a social aspect to your life. My chap is also enjoying all the different foods; which is a bit of a shame in terms of leftovers for my breakfast. Shame about your mayo - my regular food processor did the trick and I make sure all ingredients are the same temperature and oil is drizzed super slow but I imagine you're doing all of that. @Kaylee1 Well if there's something that doesn't agree with you, cabbage has to be a good one Assuming, of course, it's not one of your all time favourite 'go to' foods. Hope you get better dreams tonight.

All is well with me and I'm eating from the freezer which is great, having made extra portions. I'm thinking I'll go another couple of weeks before re-intro and will then start with gluten-free grain. It seems the coconut amino slip-up may not be a deal breaker after all but even if I'm in the clear I think the extra 2 weeks will do me and my joints some good. I'm also going to take a bit longer between re-intro days to assess the changes as I sometimes get delayed reactions. So it will be a month or so before I release myself into the wild - with the intention of keeping the paleo faith 90% of the time. A big plus for me is the lack of cravings - and when I get an urge to overeat it's just so much easier to ignore. @ginsky

Hi. I've just today had a message from the Coconut Company who said they add the sugar BEFORE fermenting. That sounds like it's okay but just wanted to check with you? All fingers crossed.

@Ginsky Green eggs?! That's brilliant. I'm off to get spinach first thing tomorrow . I do love a simple dish. @Jane3797 Adrenal burnout protein shake. That sounds interesting. Would you mind sharing your mix as I have a friend who does the same but still really suffers enormously with her energy levels. I made the chicken chowder last night - gorgeous. I'm also noticing some body changes - at last - hurrah! Aches and pains still plague me but I'm going to get medical input tomorrow and insisting on some bloods - and maybe a scan. Day 28 people. How amazing are we?

Thank you so much @SugarcubeOD I think I'll get on that thread at some point.

I'm not totally certain myself but I think it's not an official whole30 site but a place where people support each other to live paleo-stylee and look at 9 principles to a healthy life eg: stress management, nutrition, fun etc. I saw a post from someone that was starting up a whole9 with one them a month for 9 months. I think the summer camp introducing gluten-free grains first sounds like a plan. When I get to it in a few weeks I think that will be my first re-intro of choice. I know I've been on travels in the past where half my luggage has been food back-ups. Can't tell you how enjoyable cold tinned sprouts and tinned mackerel is balanced on your knee in a B&B. I hope there is something I can do to continue within the framework as my aching joints are not quite where I'd like them to be.

I know what you mean about reintro nerves. I'm feeling pretty good right now and things are moving in the right direction. I'll be waiting 2-3 weeks before reintroducing anything, but it will then be another month of Whole 30ish to get that phase put to bed. I think this forum thread has made things particularly doable this time round. A very active and supportive bunch. I'm also going to look at the Whole 9 thing. I noticed someone started a whole9 challenge at the beginning of the year. So maybe something like that would be good to do. I don't like booze fortunately but am looking forward to tofu and liquid aminos. Weird eh?

@WholeCourtney Amazing to hear you're going to miss the rules! It does keep things kind of simple, and it helps having such an active bunch of forum buddies all doing the same. I tried the slow roll version last Whole30 and it actually seemed harder, because I waited for situations to arise - and they didn't always. I ended up blowing things a bit before getting the full intro. But not everyone is me! I'm also fairly aware of how my body reacts to some foods. @Ginsky and @HopingtoHeal - I can relate to you finding that the things you love are not actually real friends. I think I cried for about a year when I was told I was having a major reation to refined sugar. Life without cake and chocolate took some adjustment - there were no friendly alternatives at that time. @Lizzard - thanks to your instructions, I eventually got a photo into the frame - 4 days before we finish! I'm pleased to say the double chin is not there any more Well, I'm feeling good and totally accepting that I might need to go another 18 days. I'm waiting for the coconut amino company to reply about whether they add the coconut sugar after fermenting or if it's a result of fermentation. So I'm imagining it will be the former and I'm on a longer journey. Been cooking up some goodies lately. Turkey meatballs with tomato sauce and courgetti was amazing. I added a few chopped anchovies to the tom sauce which really deepened the flavour. Then vegetable and prawn red thai curry last night with cauliflower rice. I've found a compliant curry paste which made my day,
